In this video I retrofit 3 inch projectors with a 5k HID Kit into my E46 Wagon. I just did this DIY you don’t need to use the connectors that came with the HID you can remove the factory wiring harness from the H7 low beam and plug it into the ballast and wire the other remaining cables.

Great video! So glad I found it as my 330i ZHP had HIDs, but the 03 M3 has the base lights. Even with 100W bulbs and relays, it's nowhere near the light output of the HIDs you put in. We're starting to promote our channel, which is about BMW car and motorcycle upgrades. How did you get to almost 100k subscribers? Dang, that's impressive! You've got one more this morning btw!

Hey, good video, but I have a 2001 740i E38 and I was hoping for a video that breaks out that model. My driver side head lights keeps turning off, I have to turn the head lights off than back on to get it to re-light, and now it is getting harder and harder to keep it on. Do you know where I can get cheap 740i head light set ups?

I appreciate your videos because they help me with a lot of questions I have. I do have one question that I can’t seem to find anywhere and it could save me a lot of time and money or maybe because I don’t know how to word it to search. Anyway, I found a great deal on projector headlights/housing for my car, but my car has factory halogen lights/housing. If I were to buy the headlight housing, with lights, would this be installable or work with my car? Would I have to have an external ballast to support the bulbs or does the housing for the projection lights have the ballast built in to them? I am not sure if this helps, but they are off a e46 that came with it. I can take this car apart and put it back together, but figuring out this is the hardest and it seems like it would be the easiest. Your response would be greatly appreciated for time and money sake.

Most will try to get away with it but I did my lights yesterday and kept my fingers crossed as the gaskets are two thirds the price of the actual glass but I didn't get away with it. One side has moisture in it so I've just ordered 2 new gaskets from my local dealership. Always do it properly or waste your time.

So i currently have Halogens headlights but with LED bulbs installed, and when they're on i have a small dark triangle in the center of the road that light doesn't touch due to for ever reason the headlights create, I've tried adjusting them every way possible so it goes away but it doesn't. Will these remove that small un-lit triangle and be completely lit like other cars?

So my left balast on my e39 turnt into charcoal couple days ago. I ordered a new balast and then my LCM (light control module) went bad so my high beams stayed on. THEN my hood latched fucking broke within the same day Life is pretty grand!!! :D

nice video but if i get it corectly when u set those xenon in position they will be in fix spot, no automatic tilting? cuze in my country if xenon does not have automatic tilting like when u put wheight in your trunk your lights will light up and dazzle driver in oposite lane cuze tilting doesnt work, thats illegal in my country :-/ shame but nice vid anyway dude :)

Hey your link to the Amazon Autolizer HID kit doesn't work anymore. I am using the Autolizer official website and there is an option for a "warning canceller" I'm guessing I need that for my E46 to cancel the canbus error. option is for 9 to 16V or 9 to 32V. I'm guessing you got the first option? Also there is an option Relay option, which one did you get? Thanks, trying to recreate your results.

You could just get new bulbs and ballast since your stock ones are most likely worn out. Also if you have an e46, the projector bowls often burn on the inside causing a yellow tint to the light output.

Blueish light has a worse light quality and creates glare in rainy and foggy conditions. It also looks cheap

Yes, the headlight housing and reflectors are the same. Only the glass is different.

Do you know anything on how to solve excessive oil usage in the bmw M54 engine? Changed my valve cover gasket after a leak and started noticing 1qt oil usage every 600-700 miles now when it is leak free, ccv change did not help with the oil consumption tried that and im at my wits end. Thanks!
