I just happened to be out in Virginia for a seminar, and I was in a hotel listening to this podcast. Logan mentioned the Alexander Brothers Shay maybe one guy's name and so I said on my ride back to the northeast I will stop in there. It was veterans day and I am a vet and I believe I heard Logan say that new customers stopping in there if his name was mentioned from ShopNotes they would give a discount. I stopped and said I heard a lot about you on the recent ShopNotes podacst with Logan, and he said to stop in for a discount. He looked at me and smiled and said if Logan writes the check you can have the discount. How do I contact Logan to get reimbursed for the purchases I made there? Also as I mentioned, I am a vet, geriatric, AARP, looking like I need a discount, I mentioned Logan's name like he said and can you believe they said no discounts here and they even charged me for one hour parking in their driveway. OK none of the above is true except that I found some nice figured maple boards and spent a few hundred that day thanks to the ShopNotes podcast giving them some marketing.
