@@nataliewalker9682 well my mum would even buy the wrong thing if I send her a picture. I could send a link where to buy and it is the wrong thing. @nataliewalker96822 жыл бұрын
@@wasgehtabmv at least she celebrated you and tried to get the right present. sometimes people try and find a better deal than what’s sent in a link and end up getting the wrong thing still. beyblade and spinning tops are pretty similar imo if you don’t know what beyblade is, which most parents off the top of their mind wouldn’t know since they’re not watching commercials for it constantly like something like a ps5. some adults aren’t as saavy also to figure that out. once again seems like a very strange thing to be so hung up on, especially since you’re no longer a child at your age. it’s okay to be sad as a child, but to hold a grudge for something such as gifts on your birthday (even though you still received gifts), is very strange to me. tough life lesson but you’re not entitled to everything in the world you ask for, even if it’s your birthday, so the fact that you still were celebrated and received a gift that’s easy to confuse for what you wanted makes me think you weren’t very grateful. and you don’t need to keep saying you’re not alone in this, no one is alone in anything in the world. but holding grudges 15 years later for a *toy* is completely ridiculous and not something i’d be proud to keep saying that “i’m not alone” for. that’s all.

You know what a child celebrating his/her birthday with a blast is so amazing. I'm not from a foster care nor adopted - I have my own family but we didn't get spoiled on our birthday because we're not financially stable and there are 5 of us so we just usually have a cake, a pasta, loaf breads and then cola, we didn't received any gifts too. Idk but I think children's who has a family that spends so much in their birthdays is so damn lucky imo. Maybe that's the reason why I'm not particularly excited when my birthday comes because we didn't treat them as 'special day' of our lives. Just a normal day with a cake and a pasta for long life. And on top of that, my birthday is on the earlier 2nd week of December and the Christmas bonus & 13month pay or half-monthly salary was not given out yet so it was placed in a very unfortunate time. But the bonuses was already given usually a week before Christmas so we got money to spend on Christmas menu and that's where I can eat quite a variety of foods.

I wish my foster family had adopted me. My 2nd home where my best friend had a meeting with her family & they all agreed to foster me. I was very depressed in those teenage years due to my biological family situation. Looking back, I would've put that aside & take all the opportunities I'm sure would have been possible. Unfortunately, I went out on my own at just turned 16. I had my own apartment & a job as a pharmacy lab technician, thanks to my landlord who was a pharmacist. I learned on the job & I was good at it. My high school friends were going to prom. No one had the time to chat with me, so I started journaling/writing my thoughts & dreams down. To sum it up:. You are going all out & the kids probably feel unworthy that's why they only request the basics. They're not used to stability or kindness. I hope your two additions can integrate & learn valuable life lessons while residing with you!! The impact is more far reaching Alicia, then you'll ever know! I just want to thank you for embracing all the kids, especially the foster children!!! I'm 65 now & the traumas & anguish I felt is still buried within me. That's why I keep thanking you! You absolutely don’t have to explain yourself but I am glad that you did…Birthdays are such an important part of a kid’s life and I am happy you and hubs go out of your way to make their day special! Kudos! ❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️

Thank you for going live earlier on here. I dont have the other platforms so it was really cool to finally be able to see the live actually live and not the replay. Even though I will watch either way.

Theses kids are super lucky they ended up with you. You literally spare no expense to make sure they have everything they want on top of already giving them everything they need.

doing life - in a big way- makes going with you shopping fun. Keep smiling and being full of hope- you are making a difference in more than your little circle - by sharing you are reminding people that living is not only doable but fun
