Hi Jeff, Have a healthy new year! Wow those plants look so nice. It's Saturday afternoon it's snowing here big puffy flakes just supposed to get just a dusting. I'm amazed pink snapdragons still growing they look green and healthy. This year the hibiscus dropped more than half of the leaves. I see tons of tiny leaves re-growing. Looking forward to spring to get outside and dig. My petunia and Lillie pot full of tiny seedlings. I'm leaving them alone to see what's growing. Think tomorrow I'm taking down Christmas things. 😅😅😅

Loved the nursery visit and seeing what you have to select from. I got my first moonlight Philo. Last summer and love how it brightens up and area. The ring of fires I would like to get one but still a little pricy here in Florida. Thanks again. Love the kitten

Hey Jeff, I think the syngonium might be a silver fox. I have had one for over a year and it’s a beauty. It will also keep its cute bushy shape. Great growth and becomes a more minty color on my shade porch during the warmer months (Chicago area). I’m sure it will love your care!

😆 yup! Just in case she ever gets outside or finds her way into a good hiding spot. Has come in useful on a few occasions already when she's decided random closets or cabinets are good for napping in. 😆 🤣

Happy new year friend! Yeah that drill is garbage! Nothing like the ones I've had in the past from Dewalt. I just use a 6 inch plant auger, it's hefty and does a good job. Just an off brand from Amazon, no clue who makes it.

I planted up a 100 gallon terrarium maybe about 10 years ago it was stunning. The only major problem I had was it was in a old used acrylic fish tank and it was a little cloudy and scratched, at the time I didn’t think it would bother me so much, but it ended up driving me crazy. It also took up a lot of room in the family room and was making furniture placement difficult. I tore it down and I’ve regretted it ever since ! ☹️🌲💚🙃

Hey Tropical Plant Party, Great Video, and I did like those Palms in the video, any palms are my favortie, and I do remember you did once have a Mexcian Fan Palm, A Nice Big tall one for sure, but Do you think you could do a video on What's the Difference between the Californina Fan Palm and also the Mexican Fan Palm? Like which one is Better at Hight/Heat/Drougt ect. Thanks.

Hey! I love Washingtonians! Stopped growing them bc they grow so fast that I can only keep them around for a few years. They are both excellent for high heat and drought, but the California (fillifera) might be a bit better since they tend to be more thick and robust than the Mexicans. Which is ironic bc the Mexicans are literally called, "robusta" while the more robust Washingtonia is called the fillifera for is hairy appearance.

Happy new year! One of my favorites for easy indoor care are the rabbits foot ferns. They don't need a lot of water and they can die back and regrow from the roots which is a nice backup incase someone over or underwater it.

I thought plant prices were supposed to be coming down ? I saw a Thai constellation at my local nursery much smaller than the ones you were looking at for $99.00 . I got my Thai in 2022 for Christmas and I’m sure glad I didn’t have to pay for it. 🌲💚🙃

They're still flying off the shelves and they said they cant hardly keep them in stock. I feel like I see them around and they aren't selling very quickly so idk what that's about. Sad that $85 is a good price for thais!

How is it possible that the nurseries by you have a better selection of "rare" aroids than the ones around here? I have yet to see a single variegated Monstera here, the fancy Philos and Anthurium, forget it. Probably because I live where it a bunch of white haired snowbirds that aren't interested in them. The variegation on my Marble Galaxy Pink Princess looks so much better as the leaf ages, compared to when it is newly opened. The leaf is green and the spots and blotches are white and they get much darker after a few weeks and the white turns pink and it stays that way. Now the Black Cherry, I must have gotten a dud because the leaves aren't dark and the variegation is minimal and it doesn't turn dark pink.

And they're sending all the plants up north for more money! I'm sure if you took a long road trip down to plantville outside of Miami you'd see all the cool stuff for sale there. The marble galaxy sounds neat! I ordered a black cherry in October from etsy and am still waiting on it. Wtf!?
