I grew up in the DMV/Baltimore area (I’m 49 so I was a teenager in the 80’s) what I’ve never understood is how 2 of the most “Hood” cities in America haven’t had a bigger impact on hip hop...I know Go-Go in DC & House music in Baltimore have always been the most popular music in the streets but still....we need more representation
