Short Clip: Rowing Exercise, Atemi, and Ikkyo

A few moments with Senseis Guy Hagen, Pierre Musy, and Barry Engh playing around with natural timing and blocking reflex with the ikkyo technique, with spontaneous variations.
The practice was to explore using the natural rowing exercise motion (tori funiundo) to set up a timing and "wave" to receive the attack, to feed back the connection back to uke as an attack (atemi) as a continuation of that rowing exercise motion, and to follow it up with a standard technique. The clips shows that even at a relatively fast speed, rowing exercise can set up a nice, natural reaction dynamic.
