In the 1930s, a black woman with mysterious abilities interviews to be the housekeeper to an eccentric white widow, but in order to get the job she must use her abilities in a way she didn't intend.
Written, directed, and produced by Joyce Sherri.
Condé Nast Entertainment and Indigenous Media have released six short films that were all directed by female filmmakers as part of Project HER, a digital video incubator series. The program connected filmmakers with seasoned mentors to help them develop a short film that could eventually be adapted for TV. The Project HER series offers a platform to make women's voices heard, with the films spanning a range of genres.

When she uses her gift it takes a toll on her body, and during those days if you had such a gift you were considered to be a witch, evil or voodoo practitioner. The sad thing is today there are still such people with said gifts and they are still frowned upon or considered to be a witch. And please don't have a true gift to see things before they come and you be on point, you will be called everything in and out of the book. I said of watching this short film, why does this feel like my life and why do I relate to that time and her so much? Well pieces of her is in me and this film is scary for me in a great sense. We hide because we don't want to be frown upon, and we stay out of the churches to keep from being called ungodly names. May your weekend be full of love and joy.

one child hated himself for having a drop of black mans blood and being healed by one as well as the shame of being on the same level as the other as her bastard. Plus she loved the second one more that she said "its not wahat i meant by the first" she was bleaching the one she loved to make her passion acceptable as part of her family - the shame is also why help only came twice a week when everything could stay hidden. Some of us have healers of mind, body, and soul in our families [this is why we will be the last to survive the piddlings of the last form of humankind as we are the foundation - [whether one like it or fights it-that is the nature]Once we are no more it all ends. just note from this clip we are not the suicidal one in any form.
