By spraying the tank it encourages the gecko to lick the water off the glass.

If you don’t have a spray bottle get your fingers wet and flick it at the glass

As I stated in the video Leopard Geckos don't drink water that much. Give it some time, if it still doesn't want to drink try administering water through an eye dropper or syringe by placing a drop on his/her nose.

umm are you spraying the inside or outside?????? i have a baby leopard gecko iv had for about a week and i have not seen it drink...!!! please help

5 years too late, but probably the inside. Because the gecko would have to be like "hey there's water there" and then "Yum water" and then associate that corner of the cage with water, and be like "hey there's a whole bowl of water here that magically fills up every so often". And then they know that's where the water is. I just cleaned out my 6-year -old's cage, and being part enigma, doesn't have the same associations as it used to, besides its hide where it usually just hangs out all the time, and it doesn't know where everything is.

Bro why do mean he know a lot this is a old video he changed it and using sand is not about impaction it's about improper husbandry
