What makes a mouse like this feel so responsive is that the sensor placement is much closer to your fingers. If you're claw/hybrid you put a lot of your precision in finger movement, so there's less compensation to be made than in the typical sensor placement being more palm-centered. I hacked the backend off an old R.A.T. 1 awhile back and had a pretty similar experience to what this is. Very precise, very light, very hand crampy, lol.

My perfect mouse: Buttons: 3 buttons on the top where my fingers rest with the scroll wheel at the front just out of reach of where my fingers rest, two mini buttons just behind where my finger rests on the middle mouse button, 5 buttons on the left side with the middle button right where my thumb rests and firm enough that I can pick up the mouse with out accidentally clicking it, 2 buttons on the other side of the mouse with dead space where my finger rests so I can pickup the mouse with out clicking one of the buttons while keeping all the buttons there nice and light for clicking. (profile selection button on the bottom of the mouse) Longevity: detachable USB C so it can be replaced, non-sautered replaceable mouse buttons (like cherry mx keys but for mouse), non-sautered replaceable LEDs and the screws NOT under the glide pads. (could offer a cheap replaceable board.... but the idea is to create little e-waste and to be able to keep a reliable board if that is the case - having access to a new board is also a must if the board dies as well) Back light: As the LEDs should be replaceable, it would be good to be able to use either a cheaper one color LED or a programmable RGB LED. (though I'm not sure if as a single bulb mount that is possible) Also allow to turn off/on the breathing effect... I personally hate breathing LEDs.... but I guess they wouldn't be a thing if no one liked it. separate LED colors for each profile so you can tell at a glance what profile the mouse is using - clearly anyone using single color LED bulbs wouldn't be able to take advantage of this, but that is the price you pay for being cheap. (could probably have a single RBG LED under the mouse icon or something) Other: As light as possible, good sensors and long lasting buttons. Sadly very very likely just spent a lot of time on a comment no mouse maker will ever see........

For reference, the brand name would very very roughly be pronounced: Tsown koo neekh Imagine "town" with an S right after the T; the "oo" after the K is similar to saying "look"; "nee" like halfway down your leg; and "kh" being that funky sound that you hear in Scottish or German, like when you hear a Scot say "Loch", like Loch Ness. Also, I think they could probably make it around 33g and have it closer to a typical mouse size and shape. If they did that, most people would find it a lot more comfortable, even if it didn't have any scroll or a third mouse button. 5:55 - what you are talking about is NOT claw grip, it's fingertip grip, and that's what this mouse is meant for

"World's lightest mouse!" "How to lighten your mouse with aluminium foil!" And here I sit with the maximum amount of additional weight in my logitec mouse because light mice are uncomfortable to use.

The scroll wheel isn't necessary in games where there's no bhopping. You can switch weapons using keys on your keyboard. I'm aware that they've released a new version with a scroll wheel. Which is cool. The size makes sense, if you're playing with a somewhat low sensitivity, then there's a very high chance that you use either a claw/fingertip grip and only use like 1/2 - 1/3 of your mouse. The price is a bit steep, but it's a carbon fibre prototype mouse, what do these people really expect. I think it's a great idea. Innovation is always cool. If I was a Quake Champions pro or whatever, then I could definitely see myself giving this a try.

“the perfect gaming mouse wouldn’t have a scroll wheel” because gamers dont do anything else? maybe if it wasn’t this expensive and you could just buy a second mouse but it is because no one uses the scroll wheel to bhop or change weapons? maybe in a game like minecraft when you’d be scrolling past 7 other things but in an FPS when you have 2 guns and that’s it there’s no reason not to. “this is the no frills of mice” yeah no shit its ugly it has a wire that looks awful and they pursued lowering the weight so much they forgot they’d have to put it under their palm for hours on end. I don’t like being negative but no one should buy this product unless they’re so rich and give so few shits about buying an awful product just to test it out. i’m sure 23 grams feels amazing the shape won’t. the cable won’t. g pro wireless superlight is only 64 grams or something and it has 4 spare buttons, a battery, a wireless transmitter, a scroll wheel (apparently a hot fucking commodity) and costs like half the price. and finally my biggest gripe if you’re charging this steep a markup for your product... get a properly-translated, good-looking website. shopify isnt that hard to set up. EDIT: I wanted to add that I’ve seen this attitude recently in a lot of LTT videos, where big issues get swept under the rug. Also the hipocracy. I randomly scrolled thru the video. The first part I got to was “I need the scroll wheel, you take for granted how much you scroll” the second part was “I don’t really need a scroll wheel” These days it feels like every other LMG video is biased, and for no reason... it’s not like this product has an affiliate link so why? same went for the handheld console thing.

actually, this mouse is NOT made for claw grip. You're not supposed to rest your hand on the back of the mouse. This is intended for fingertip grip, with only the tip of your fingers touching the mouse
@n0xt3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I was really surprised that he didn't even consider fingertip, when the shape just begs for it.

It's a bit weird reviewing this mouse as a "clawgrip" mouse considering it's a strictly fingertip mouse for extreme fingertippers in FPS games and RTS games.. It's super cliche and specific - yes - but so is a toilet plunger.. Right tool for the right job. And this mouse definitely does the job for the job it needs to do.

You can just set it to scroll one way between main and another item down and same with up. Keeps you from panic overshoot.

I think it's funny that people want realism in their games and with fps (where the character is usually carrying very heavy weapons) people just try to feel like they have absolutely nothing in their hands

If you cut your fingers off your hand would be lighter... that proposal might have some downsides that outweigh the benefits through... kinda like this mouse.

@ItsScapeGoated3 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say it's targeted for FPS gamers, cause if it is then they've well missed the mark. The scroll wheel is perfect for games that require switching distances, or selecting weapons if you have issue with the number keys, or even bhopping in certain games. Not having side buttons is also a deal breaker as those are usually mapped to important secondary actions. Lastly the body shape, I can't expect people to use that mouse for more than 2 hours max. A good mouse should compliment your palm, not force you into a particular grip. Granted I have smaller hands, but I would imagine that it's still not comfortable for people like me, let alone those with far larger palms. To me it looks like a mouse that was so hell bent of "shaking up tradition" that it sacrificed everything needed in a decent mouse. But hey, at least it's light right?

Weight isn't everything when it comes to mice you can only get so light until it becomes useless and doesn't make a difference many good players play with heavy mice like the g502
@Tom-ty3zg3 жыл бұрын

Everything that this mouse has going for it, is that it's light and expensive. I can make you a cheaper and lighter mouse. Literally scrap the whole casing bs and just make the PCB with 2 buttons and a sensor. It's probably gonna be more ergonomic, than this one as well.
