This video highlights some of the differences between WW2 KABAR manufactured MK2/1219C2 combat knives and Modern KABAR MK2 combat knives. There are many more differences and variations in WW2 produced knives as they changed during the course of WW2.

There were a lot of variations of the WW2 Kabar which included peened pommels and pinned pommels. Camillus even had a early Navy MK2 with a screw pommel. The same for manufacturer marks; blade or guard marked. Understand this was a "short". Cheers.

You are exactly correct and I almost didn't do this "short" because there is so much to cover. I'll do a longer video, or maybe a few videos, to show those differences.
