imagine being 15, pulling that dumb shit and spending the rest of your life in prison for it. never gonna lose your virginity, never gonna graduate high school, never going to have his first drink of legal alcohol, never gonna travel, never gonna experience free life. This woman was lied to and told she could do any job she wanted. A police job is not for everybody, but anti discrimination laws make it illegal to prevent smaller weaker and slower men or women from being qualified for duty. This cold and obvious scenario repeats itself every day all across this country. If you lower the strength and fitness standards to qualify more people, you get more injured and killed cops.

Officer White, I was a Police officer for 32yrs went to Police Academy in 1987, working my way through the ranks to Patrol Lieutenant. On the morning of November 21 2018 at approximately 4:45 am. ( Thanksgiving Eve) I responded to a call with my officers on a possible kidnapping. As I arrived on scene a vehicle with a suspect inside was out of control screaming at the top of his lungs ,I could not understand what he was saying. I took control as Shift Commander and tried to talk to him at a distance ot about 25 yds.As I was trying to calm him ,I never saw a gun all of sudden he exited the vehicle shot me twice ,one to the left side of my face, one hit chest on my ballistic vest . I then returned fire on him and he died as result. Knowing I was hit bad ,blood poured from my face .I sat down behind a patrol unit, and it's unreal what flashes in your brain in a blink every memory of my life. As I was waiting on medical care, I was barking order to my men talk, on my radio. I LIVED THE SHOOTING , I HAVE NOT SERVIVED IT. I am not the same man anymore, it comes back to me, WHAT CAUSES IT EVERYTHING AND NOTHING AT ALL ,WHEN DOES IT HAPPEN ANYTIME. My doctor says the man you were was left at the scene of this crime ,you have to find A NEW YOU. WOW .I will die with this nightmare, and yet I do not hate this man , i pray God smiles on him. I hate what he has done to me and my family. How many times have I thought to end this nightmare, MILLIONS. So I know EXACTLY what you are feeling. People have said PUT THIS BEHIND YOU MOVE ON ,IF IT WERE SO SIMPLE WOULDN'T I . I am retired as a result of this shooting, God knows I miss my job so bad I just sometimes cry for whatever, in 32 yrs my badge still shines NO TARNISH, that I am proud to have.God bless you and keep you, I will pray for you as many has prayed for me ,the Anniversary of 5 yrs ago this November, a day that will be hard for me to just get through.

If she is having to pay for those medical bills she needs a lawyer! The county or city should be completely on the hook for her bills. It happened in the line of duty!

Why don't news reports mention the Good Samaritan? The guy was right there the second after she got shot, doing everything he could to help her. He deserves recognition. Hell, he deserves a new car

So the next time an officer goes someone a harder time than they think or the next time and officer isn't as polite as you would like them to be, remember this is the potential they face every second of every day on duty or not.

I’ve watched a lot of these videos. This is the first one that felt like my heart stopped beating. I remember this murderer on a video when he was younger. At the time, I was thinking that this child has no future. He destroyed this young woman’s life. She lost so much that she can never recover. Such a tragedy…..🙏🏼

She failed on the most important things, which was do a pat down n checking for weapons and keeping his hands up on his head. She had no control over the suspect. But I’m glad she’s alive.

That’s what I was thinking, she shouldn’t have even let him get in the squad car with his hands in his pockets before searching him and putting him in cuffs, she was a rookie rookie, only 3 months in the job and almost got herself killed

Thats what people dont realize about traumatic incidents like these. Usually you are awake and remember EVERYTHING. I had a work accident doing tree work where i fell 50ft. Shattered my pelvis into 3 pieces 5 broken ribs and 2 broken vertebrea. And i was awake for everything, when the paramedics rolled me onto my side to check my spine i yelled and begged them to put me back on my back because it was the most painful thing ever to be on my side. Then they did it again on the trauma table at the hospital. At this time i was begging them to knock me out because the pain was too much. I remember them putting my catheter in and shortly after i was knocked out.

This is a perfect example of why you handcuff all ages. Kids are not kids anymore. Her main mistake was when she had him in the car, she should of shut the door until cover came. Actually, they should be search prior to being placed into a car.

Definitely a rookie mistake, he should have been frisked IMMEDIATELY. [This is the result of improper training; she should not have been alone after only 3 months] I have on good authority that she followed him just as she stated, but she hit him on bike with the cruiser, not him running into the back of the car (highly unlikely). Then the dashcam and bodycam were activated. A scared (15 yr. old) kid believed he was going to be killed by this officer. Who hits a kid on a bike with a police cruiser except for someone who is going to do him harm, was I believe, his mindset. Only days before an officer shot and killed a shoplifter there at a Walmart.

She’s strong for going through what she has and what she continues to even if she doesn’t think it which with what she went through I’m sure she doesn’t. What she said is the truth! Some people deserve second chances but sometimes you have to make some have their punishment. That’s a shame and he deserves worse, that’s all he deserves from me is that one statement.

15 years old or not😠 that punk knows the difference from right and wrong. 88 years is being to nice. Life with no parole is What's deserved in that case and every case before and after, there and every state, county and city across the United States. Sick and tired of these young punks getting away with crimes with little to no sentence.

Oh yeah this kid is 100% a sociopath. Very dangerous, violent, feels no empathy, guilt or remorse for his actions. He violates the rights of others, doesn’t feel he should be held accountable. He feels entitled to do whatever he wants & get away with it. No respect for authority, is very impulsive, can’t control his emotions so is very prone to bouts of rage. Is very oppositional defiant, breaks all kinds of social, legal, ethical, & moral codes.
