FYI - Anyone that wants to remove their bowtie out without taking the grill off: Just go in from the bottom. There are 3 tension pins you take out and that allows you to stick your hand up and just release the clips. Takes 2 minutes.

I had one on my 2017 Sierra about a year ago.....worked fine for about 3 weeks then I got message in my dash saying power steering ability reduced so I had to put the truck in the shop for a week....got it back fine for a week then one day on the way to work my CEL came on....so I unplugged it on the way home cut the truck off turned it back on CEL was gone I sent that bullshit back I’m just gonna go with a tuner of some sort...maybe I hit a dud but for 175 I might as well spend a lil extra and get a tuner

tha1Gemini24 I got mine from Range about 2 months ago. The new version is the 8.6. I talked to Caitie from Range Technology and she was very helpful. You can send it back to them and they will update there latest firmware to your Disabler
