@ DESI DRIVING SCHOOL Ravi Sir, Nexa is providing extended warranty for baleno at ₹8,272/- for 3rd and 4th year . Since Non-Nexa cars such as dzire are provided with EW of 3rd , 4th and 5th year for around ₹10,500 . I asked the Nexa showroom person if the same is possible in baleno , he said that exact price would be told at the time of buying baleno for 3rd, 4 th and 5 th year . It would around ₹10,500 ( shelling out around ₹2400/- extra ). I would like to ask sir if (i) we should take EW of 3rd and 4th year for baleno Or (ii) 3, 4 and 5th year at the time of purchasing baleno Or (iii) Take 3 n 4 now and 5 th year later ? Or (iv) take as much EW as provided?

1) Yes warranty is applicable but extension should be done before the existing warranty expires 2) Warranty and AMC are different. Warranty covers part issues arising due to manufacturing defects (like issue in Engine, suspension, transmission etc) while AMC covers for wear and tear (Clutch, brake pads, liners). So based on your usage you can go for AMC, if you drive very much then AMC is recommended if usage is less then not required 3) I own Tata Nexon Petrol 2018 model, yes there is slight lag at initial RPMs. But not that much lag that you can't even drive, its acceptable. Once RPM reaches 1700 then you get good linear power 4) Petrol Turbo works best over 1800 RPM till red line 5) Life of any vehicle depends on how you maintain it (unless there is some manufacturing defect). I owned a Nano before Nexon and was using it for 8 years, not a single issue I faced with Nano :)
