It feels like the muscles are getting stronger to hold it back, but not strong enough, yet! I still need the Comfort-Truss and will keep doing the progressive exercises, but I can tell it’s all working. I think it may take another month or two, but even after it’s healed, I will keep at it, to keep my strength up, to maintain. I’m feeling confident! So, get started, I did and it’s paying off!

ARE ISOMETRIC EXERCISES A BETTER OPTION IF YOU HAVE A INQUINAL HERNIA ?
@billa63488 ай бұрын
I listened to what you were saying until I saw the water. Then I lost track. Your trusses have given me the confidence to continue working out until I have the surgery. At 73, I'm a late comer to the hernia club and although I'd love to tough it out with your excellent product, I am a worrier and I will hold back my workouts. So surgery is on the docket for next month. Funny thing, when I asked my surgeon if I should continue wearing the truss all the time or just when I work out, his response was, "We surgeons do not believe in hernia trusses, but if it feels okay and gives you confidence, go for it." The phrase, "We surgeons" suggests (okay, big leap here) that surgeons consider hernia trusses "competition." I know that's a ridiculous assumption, but "We surgeons" sort of separates them from the rest of the medical community. Just odd. Anyway, it's been five years since you made this video, but thanks!

Hi George 🎉🎉 I’ve been doing your 10 exercises and wearing your hernia belts (thanks) for about 3.5 months. Feeling alot of abdominal muscle strength praise God! About how many months or years did it take for you to see results with the exercises? I know once you mastered the routine it went fast. But how long were you doing the exercises before you achieved results. Just asking to kind of put myself into a time zone comparison. That would encourage me tremendously if you gave me a time line. I’m 64 years old and muscle development is a little slower. No problem, I’m not discouraged by my age, just a reality that I have to put into the equation. I’ve dealt with recovery from a water skiing injury in 2006 and had surgery in 2010 which didn’t help and I’m loath to go down the surgery route again if I can avoid it. Been working really hard since 2012 exercising 5 days a week and I’ve recovered almost to my former level and now I get this! It sucks. But it’s nice to see I’m not alone. Thanks. Can you tell me if your exercises have resulted in not needing the truss at all?

IS A WEIGHTLIFTING BELT AS GOOD AS A COMFORT TRUSS ?

I have already had an inguinal hernia repaired on the right side in 2015. I had bad pain and had to have my mesh removed in oct 2016. I work as an electrician and decided to buy two of your double-sided belts. I didn't really think of it until now but is this only suggested for people who haven't had surgery yet to wear your belt? That's all I had in mind was buying it for more support and preventive maintenance.
@MyNaturalHerniaCure3 жыл бұрын
I think it would be fine but it would be best to check with your doctor to make sure.
@jjmcwill18812 жыл бұрын
You designed the comfort truss? I bought it. It's comfortable, but for the price it should have come with multiple pads of varying sizes. also, first time in the washing machine the pad was lost. The pad opening needs velcro to prevent that or design it so that it cannot easily fall out.
@MyNaturalHerniaCure2 жыл бұрын
If you look at the care instructions for the truss (which are on the label, and in the email we sent you after the belt was shipped to you), it is not supposed to be washed in the washing machine. That’s the quickest way to ruin it. It is hand wash only with mild detergent, and air dry out of direct sunlight.
@jjmcwill18812 жыл бұрын
@@MyNaturalHerniaCure even still. It's comfortable, but there are cheaper options that offer better support. Padding is trash.
@MyNaturalHerniaCure2 жыл бұрын
Ok thanks. I didn’t design it to be the cheapest or most supportive. I designed it to be the most minimalist, unobtrusive truss on the market. Since it is such a minimal design it’s not for everyone. If it’s not strong enough, we also have the Heavy Duty version which is made from fabric that is twice as thick, and is much more supportive. This might be a better choice for you if you need more support than what the Minimalist version provides. We also have different thicknesses of pads available to customize the support level of either model.

Hi George! Thanks for your FAQ here. I have been wearing Comfort Truss since July 2018. I like it's sleek and not embarrassing in my fitness locker room except when I put it on. Of course, other hernia belts would be a lot more embarrassing in all aspects, so it's not a major issue. In my experience with Comfort Truss, I seem to have a one-hour limit on my dancing or standing. When it exceeds one hour, I start to feel my hernia trying to pop out under my Comfort Truss. When I joined a three-hour long carnival parade as a dancer, it happened in the half way through, so I had to slow down and lie down to let my hernia sink back. Nonetheless, I am so much grateful for you to have developed Comfort Truss which enabled me to go back to my exercise from zero to at least one hour, that itself is so much valuable, but just wanted to report my experience. Fyi, my inguinal hernia is a small one about the size of 1/3 egg when it pops. Thank you!
@MyNaturalHerniaCure6 жыл бұрын
That's awesome that it got moving again, but I'd really like to get you to a place where you can go all day and not have to think about it. Do you have the old style comfort-truss with the pad sewn in all the way around it, or the new style with the opening in the top which allows for different sized pads to be swapped out?
@inaciotasse67066 жыл бұрын
My hernia is really close to the pubic bone and goes into the scrotum. How would the comfort-truss work on such a hernia?
@MyNaturalHerniaCure6 жыл бұрын
It's hard to say. I think it's something you would have to try. Is the hernia reducible? Can you push it back in?
@inaciotasse67066 жыл бұрын
@@MyNaturalHerniaCure It seems that it's reducible because most of the time the groin appears normal, that is, there's no bulge. i can't push it back in because there's no obvious bulge in the abdominal area for instance. I think it's lower down in the groin area.
@MyNaturalHerniaCure6 жыл бұрын

@@MyNaturalHerniaCure I found something else that could be useful but it has caveats. It's a neutraceutical that encourages your bone marrow to release stem cells. The cells float around your bloodstream. They find tissues that need repair and turn into the cells they need to be to fix the problem. However, one of the extracts in this supplement comes from blue green algae and another from spirulina. Blue green algae can be contaminated with bmaa, a neurotoxin known to cause ALS. The contamination comes from other microbes that like to grow with the blue green algae. The same risk with spirulina too, I think. The nutraceutical better be of high quality so that you don't get exposed to any amount of that toxin. Combined with your exercises and truss this could help, it might not. Just letting you know. Perhaps you can do some research on your own and find a similar extract from a safer source. The nutraceutical will probably be expensive too though. Site for the nutraceutical is here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mXOcaYx-Z72Io5I. Hello George, Just recently I realized that I have an inguinal hernia on my right side, I am 71 yo. At first it felt like at least one golf ball, I have been hesitating about telling my doctor about it because lately the size of it has reduced, I can poke around in the area and feel a little of something but nothing like it was. For excercise I do weighted hula hooping every day using my core muscles to keep it going. I know you are not a doctor but maybe you could answer this. If I wear the truss belt while doing the hula hoop or even doing stomach crunches while wearing the belt, would that be harmful to the hernia or a plus because it is held in while I am trying to build some muscle mass to hold in the protrusion. What do you think George? Thank you!
