Hard pass on Ehlers. There's a reason why he's on the trading block every year. Would rather see a trade for Eriksson Ek. More of a two-way player that is less expensive and is starting to consistently put up 60+ point seasons.

Great show as always gents lol. Hate me if you want but I honestly think Ehlers is overpaid. My thoughts on it are because to me paying 6 to 8 million a year for a player I would expect that player to get at least 82 points or more for a season, not a career average of 60 ish points per season. I mean, would you pay that much for perron ? Because that's basically what he get per year , average of 60 pts. That's a salary that I would expect to be around. 4 to 6 million per year. Not 6 to 8 million. That's bad business. That's just my thoughts. They need someone cheaper because not only are they going to have to shell out a decent chunk of money for Razer and Mo, but they will inevitably have to shell out that for the others like Kasper. Not only that but will have to fill out rest of team too. And you don't want to be "top heavy" like in previous years. That has been known to just kill our progression you need a well-balanced team that can score on every line. Much like this season but consistently also we need defense not scoring defense but actual defense. Don't get me wrong I would like to get him same with stamkos and others. but if you're going to do that you might as well shell out some money for Kane but anyway that's just my thoughts lol. Eh. Ehlers just doesn't move the needle for me. We need more goal scoring. Someone who can get 35-40 goals plus 35-40 assists. If can't resign Kane then go hard after Stamkos. I highly doubt TB is going to be able to resign him now

Here are our top 3 needs: 1. 2nd pairing RHD 2. 2nd line center/wing (can move Compher/Copp to wing) 3. 2nd/1st pairing LHD Honestly not too concerned about Kane. If he signs, great. If not, we’ll find somebody else. Either way Bergers will be a top six guy so that leaves us, excluding Compher, with only 1 spot to fill in the top 6. I’d rather invest on the back end, get both Edvinsson and Seider a legitimate partner for the next 2-3 years and ship off Maata(or)Chariot and Holl(or)Petry.

No. If you have to go into the prospect pool or a 1st round pick I say no way. Don’t rush the process. Maybe I would do it with for 3rd. Doubt they would.

The Wings need a Ov player, not saying they’re gonna find the second coming of the Russian 5, but look how many Ovs are in the playoffs: Barkov, Dadanov, Kucherov, Zadorov, Svechnikov, etc. Buchelnikov needs to hurry up and make the roster because the Red Wings not having a single Ov player is weird.

I don’t even think Detroit has a scoring problem lol. Wouldn’t mind a replacement for Kane if he walks. A second line center could be a strong option as well. But. Rh def and a starting goaltender are the real problems.
