Should We Save This 1974 Volvo 144 Field Find?

We found this Volvo 144 field find and boy is it tricked out! The seller claims it was stored indoors until just recently, but it's been outside long enough to start looking a little rough. We are suckers for these old Volvos though, but do you think we should save this one? And if so, what should we do with it?

I’d say yes. It may not be the sexiest car, but it would be a fun project and they may start to gain some appreciation because of the popularity of its successor the 240

Wouldn’t take much to get it going except perhaps the AC. Then a couple of hours cleaning the paint and you got a nice Volvo

Assuming everything on the car works like they should, and there's no rust holes in the car, then I'd save it. This has always been my favourite year for the Volvo 144.

Wish I had a set of those chrome beauty wheel rings from my 144. Well speced car, possible a GL... it needs to be saved, full resto to bring it back to its former glory.

Keep it stock. As well equipped as this is, I think it will be a good investment. Prices are climbing fast on these in Sweden. Might even make sense for someone to sell over there.
