I bought 20 oz generic rounds a month ago. I had a $11 credit from 3 yrs. ago and the company allowed me to use it. I bought Winged Lib, Buffalo and Aztec. They sent them in plastic tubes as opposed to plastic flips. Copper premiums are outrageous! I bought because of the eye appeal. What I do is save pre-1982 pennies. I saved 1982 pennies for many yrs. in a separate container. I bought a digital gram scale on ebay for less than $11. I never knew they were so inexpensive. I ended up with pennies that were over 3 grams (6 rolls).

I also saw some post 2009 Shield Lincoln cents on the table. You can see one at 15:30 in the video. You might want to go back through your pennies and make sure they are all Copper because somehow you got a few other coins mixed in that obviously aren't Copper pennies. I have 100+ lbs of Copper pennies, and I have close to 300 ounces of Copper rounds. I don't stack Copper rounds, but when buying Silver, I have been known to purchase a Copper round or two just to round out the order, which is how I have ended up with a bunch of Copper rounds. Like you, I don't advise people to buy Copper rounds. Clearly, keeping pre-'82 Copper pennies is the way to go. I also keep all of the older Nickels 2003 and prior, as a way to hoard both Copper and Nickel. I also have about 20+ pounds of Canadian Copper pennies, and 4 or 5 lbs of Nickel bullion through keeping Canadian Nickels and Quarters that were 99.9% Nickel. These are not precious metals, but they are both monetary metals, and if you stack Silver & Gold, then there is no reason you shouldn't also have a bit of Copper and Nickel. Lastly, wouldn't a "narrowing ratio" between Copper and Zinc mean that you're seeing more Copper? I think you mean to say that the ratio is "widening", don't you? Keep stacking!

Copper bullion is a great way to stack fractionally. There is a demand for copper and especially collectible copper pieces. Yoi can get your money back out of them if not more. There is a copper bullion market therefore you can sometimes do better than you would silver, gold and platinum. When yoi sell precious metals back to your dealer usually they will buy this material under spot especially if the markets are on an up swing. As I stated before copper is fractional you can sell on the secondary market and break even or even make a little. It will take you a longer time to sel, but I believe it's a better return than precious metals. Pennies are ok but you can melt them yet so it's just pennies at the end of the day until the U.S. govt says it's OK. If you don't know how to smelter the coper out it is dangerous to do so. It wouldnt pay to pay a refiner to extract the red metal unless copper goes to the moon. The best is to trade copper pennies at its melt value. WHT would you rather have a dirty old penny worth 2.8 cents or a a pure shiny copper bullion round or bar? I choose bullion all day.

The dollar has 3 cents of its original value left what else is valued around 3 cents? A 95% copper penny. This is highly undervalued because one penny should be worth 1 dollar at the moment!!!!!!!! Copper rounds should be worth what silver ones are now, and silver 🚀. These are being suppressed to give the dollar a perceived value. Take it to the moon fellas!

Meh.. I'm not bothering with bags or buckets full of 95% copper 'pennies'. One ounce copper rounds are much easier to deal with. Sure, there's a steep premium for a copper round. But, if you're stacking Goldbacks or Silverbacks, you probably shouldn't be complaining about premiums. Somewhere online I saw a 1/1000 silverback for $8.99 each, for example. I didn't buy copper rounds in the hope that the price of copper skyrockets down the road. But rather for possibly bartering for small items or quantities in the event of some sort of calamity or economic collapse. Copper has a long history for use as currency. As such, the 1 oz round or bar could be the standard size/denomination below silver. And you wouldn't need to be a numismatist to understand the concept. On the other hand, using pre-1982 pennies or junk silver requires a short lecture about metal content, etc. I would disagree that once you buy a copper round or bar it's an unrecoverable loss. At the very least, you could recover what you spent selling them on eBay. Especially, if they're a collectable like Zombucks. In the 'sold' history for copper rounds there are sales for hundreds of dollars for this year. So, I'm not as worried about losing anything on copper rounds. I have a different purpose for them in mind. Watch 'Copper Mutant', he'll get you fixed up.
