I have a pair bridged with a nvb-58. I love that it’s fixed because it’s one less thing to fiddle with in the dark. Dual 14’s are also the best move if all your friends are rust belt poor.

This is insanely timely for me. I went for a night hike last after a few weeks, and for the first 10 minutes I upset that I cheaped out and went mono. By 20 minutes in, I was adapted and it was all good. When I got home, though, my girlfriend took my mono and instantly fell in love with the sky. So long of the short, I'm buying another "for her" and a secret bridge lol

I use the code four defense panoramic bridge and it's pretty fantastic. I find the field of view increase massively beneficial, much more so than regular binos over a single tube.

It's the one of the only ways to get wider field of view without the quad nod setup. If you use RPO light weight lenses, they have a slightly wider field of view as well. I heard the Boomslang 50° lenses aren't great, so might want to avoid that route. Eventually LLI is supposed to release a version of the MH-1 with a pan adjustment, but that could be more than a year out.

i tried the panobridge and i don't really like it . I really like the Arc Panning Bridge, they are more adjustments when you change the angle and it's cheaper .

Interesting that you didn't mention having to use two seperate sets of controls with the pano. Seems like a pain in the butt. I guess you can just run them both at max gain and rely on auto-gating. But I like to fiddle with my pvs14 and keep it where its bright enough but with minimal noise

@@FocusTripp the NOX18 is a bit bright compared to the pvs14 but I can still move and shoot reasonably. The main benefit of the NOX18 is that due to the 60htz refresh rate I can move fairly quickly without a noticeable image delay.

Most companies you can buy a housing from will assemble the unit for u at no, or little extra cost. Mainly because the tubes have to be culminated.

In the army I was issued pvs 7s, then when we deployed we finally got the new pvs 14s. I personally prefer a monocular, if I had to run two units one would have to be a thermal.
