Should you buy aftermarket Lexus carbon fiber replacement mirrors? Review on poor quality pair.

This is a pair I purchased on eBay. There were quality issues that are suspected to fail with time. I returned them for a refund. If you are interested in buying, things to look out for and overall review.
These were purchased for the RC F, but fit many different Lexus models.

Yep, most if not all of these are coming from China. A lot of the times fitment is the biggest issue. But they'll eventually start to turn yellow. They always say they are clear coated and even if they are, it's some shitty backyard stuff. Not automotive grade 2-stage clear.

Yep! I feel the original ones would have lasted a bit longer if I blasted with a pro clear. Lesson learned on that front. Japanese carbon fiber go hand in hand for needing a clear. Partially my fault for not doing otherwise. 100% right on shitty clear. Had it not have been some vacuum issues, I probably would have kept these. But these aren’t making the cut at all.

2.5 years. Probably would have lasted longer adding a clear to it.
