Nice review, I only just considered buying one of these when one came to my attention a few months ago, believe it or not I've been searching for the RIGHT car before Covid landed on us, so before March 2020 Have had a few Audi's in the past ''late 90's & 2006'' - my search has mainly been for an Audi A4 estate or BMW 3 series touring, have seen a few but no deal and since Covid the market has turned BONKERS MENTAL, all I keep seeing is high mileage cars with well over 100k on the clock for silly daft unrealistic money. Even at 53 I've always strangely overlooked the Merc, maybe I've just looked upon them as being a bit grown up for me, they have really grew on me now. Thanks again for the review, found it pretty helpful.

I got my self a S204 C200 Estate 2011 with 95000km only a month earlier. (From VOLVO S60 2012 to M-Benz) I’m very satisfied with my decision. Great internal and external looking, great building quality, great engine. Love it ❤

Picking mine up this week , after going from an ml 2004 3.7 v 6 petrol. Still get the space. Much quicker and twice as many miles per gallon. 👍👍

I had the model in the review but now have the next gen up. Not much difference in ride, and you're bang on about the poor visibility, this hasn't changed in the newer model but you do get reverse cam which helps enormously. Besides the newer screen and lights, not much difference.. Tip: If your computer is slow, screen blacking out, radio not working etc...disconnect BOTH of your battery terminals completely for 2 mins which will remove any bugs in the computer, make sure you have radio codes first if needed.

A enjoyable review, but what about purchasing a Diesel engined car in 2021...... could legislation and running costs be a minus point?

That’s a good point actually and I’d definitely say it’s a minus point, however the petrol one is equally as good to drive and has everything the diesel one has but I suppose it’s up to the person and what their needs are. For example the diesel is so much better for longer journeys in terms of economy so that might be better for motorways. The petrol would be better for city driving
