Should you buy an On3 turbo system?? I go over every detail that I thought was important to this question in this video! This kit is for my fox body mustang but I'm sure the quality of the kit reflects all their other products as well! But I answer the should you buy an on3 turbo system very extensively in this video! I just bought my on3 turbo kit yesterday. I went to their website and they are now 1899 while the kits were 1600 last week. I had to google another place that still had them for around 1600 and buy it their. They said the price of materials is going up (thank you Joe Biden) This kit is going on my 306 TTop Fox with ederlbrock performance heads with 202 valves, 1.7 svo roller rockers, Trickflow street intake, BBK 75mm throttle body, F303 cam and so on. I know nothing at all about turbos which is why I’m watching all the videos I can find. I need help on my fuel kit to. Guys on turbo foxbody page on Facebook said I could go 60 or 80 so I have room to grow and to get the push lock fittings with PTFE hose?

I have PTFE fittings and line and their good for e85 if that’s what your going to be running but if your running normal fuel idk if it matters that much depends on your goals but THAT SUCKS ON THE KITS! I didn’t know that 😅🥲 I think for the fuel though whats your hp goal? 500-600whp? I would do 80’s just nice to have a safe margin I’ll be doing a full series on my fuel system maybe I can make a video on how I calculate my fuel pump size and injector size choices!

Neo mustangs is most likely going to install my On3 turbo kit.. He's like the only guy I feel confident beside myself to install it on my Saleen clone right the first time and tune it cheaply.. Ohhhh yea I'm going to pick up my On3 kit in person because I live in Dayton Ohio. . The on3 company is based in Columbus Ohio an hour and 20 minutes from my house... I'll probably do a short video of me picking up my engine bay jewelry at the on3 company so everyone can see where come from.. If I'm lucky maybe a short little tour of the factory if all the parts don't come from china lol

Other then the v band rubbing my sway bar (only after I slammed it on coil overs) I had no problems with my on3 kit. It all bolted up with no problem and everything was included . I bought mine from lmr two years ago for 1400 . Everything els fit just right . Oh yeah the 90 degree coupler was a bitch fitting over my bbk throttle body.

Yea I love the kit but those were the things I dealt with as well but it’s running amazing so far so I can’t complain to much!! It’s perfect for the money except they have raised it a to like 1700 now I think lol

What cylinder heads do you have because if they are high port cylinder heads they gave a notification on their website about using high port cylinder heads

No they're not high port I got these heads cause I knew it was supposed to fit. They are AFR 185's which retains the stock port style. And my hooker headers bolted right up to those heads no problem. It wasn't like they were way off but one bolt would not thread in and until I realized it was because the exhaust manifolds weren't right it made me crazy lol

Honestly if you can do it yourself I’d go that route! Especially for the cold side piping! I’d do a pony down hot side with a custom cold side if I could do it again!

@@iamchazhaynes7074 Thanks for the video! I've got a gt40 build now making around 300hp now, hoping the turbo will get me to that sweet 500 to 600mark with trickflow heads intake and stage 1 cam. You think buying a tubular k member will give everything more room or is it still going to have the swaybar and 7675 turbo issuies with clearance?

@@VincentSevenV7 I definitely think you can make 500 no problem 600 I think with some e85 shouldn’t be a problem either ! But the k member will help a lot! But mainly with clearance for the down pipe The sway bar part LMR just started selling sn95 relocation brackets for the fox so that might be a solution to making more room I was going to buy the relocation here pretty soon as well. You’ll be able to make everything work just fine with light massaging! Lol

I’ve owned and installed three kits. On3 has the worst customer service I have ever experienced and ALL three kits were missing parts. Never again on3

Yea my experience is very anecdotal it’s definitely not what I’ve heard from the foxbody community! But I wouldn’t buy again I’d save my money!

I purchased my kit for an 04 Mustang Gt last year. I didn't have customer issues with them for what I purchased. I only called them a couple of types when I had install questions and there were problems.

I read somewhere you have to use the sn95 sway bar brackets and bushings for good clearance with the on3 piping

I had read that on a forum somewhere as well! But when I was looking at it I didn't see how it would help since the brackets force the sway bar lower which makes it closer to the hot side piping. I almost bought them but after looking I didn't see how it would help. And I might still try it at some point just for giggles since it still freaks me out with it being so close.

I drove it! But theirs a lot of little problems in the background that are making it a PITA so get going!!! So I’ll have a video up soon about fixing the little crap! And then FINALLY we can do the fuel system and really tune it! Plus I’m getting ready for a big test for my Job so I’ve been studying like crazy so I can pass lol 😝

I have been having a problem with spark plugs. I have fouled out three sets in a week. I don’t know why! I took it to my tuner and the injectors are not pulsing right which in turn is falling out the plugs. So know I have to buy new injectors.

My injectors are fouled out right now as well!!! I’m using Ford green tops but I can’t get the right injector data for it that’s one of the reasons why I’m swapping to the deatschwerks !

Are the ON3 turbos good turbos? Or are you better off replacing them with a different brand?

On3 turbo are O K they’ll make power but a name brand turbo will be more efficient their has been guys on here that have made 50+ HP by swapping to a precision unit and they were using the same psi. So they’re alright turbos I really like mine but I’ll probably upgrade it later down the line.

I started with ON3 5/6 years ago... I have a PonyDown stage 2 now. Honestly no comparison the PonyDown is better and BG Fabrication are also. But... they are a lot more money 😂.

Definitely not! lol the vortech is a great unit honestly but it all depends on your goals but the vortech S trim is what I’m assuming you have can supply a good amount of power and is less of a headache lol

Seen about every one fitment sucked and parts was missing, shouldnt call it a kit if you have to source $200 worth of shit that dont come with it or simply remake the driver header to clear all stock accessories from the beginning.

The stock blocks on those cars can’t handle much over 500hp.

Yea they seem to start splitting blocks at that point. I’ve heard of people going to 600hp “reliably” but I don’t have much knowledge on it. I went with an R302 block cause I didn’t want to deal with it lol but the stock engine that came out of the car I’m going to rebuild and really push and actually see what a stock block can do !

After watching 7min .. I feel the kit sucks .. so many missing parts and bs.. they should know what your ordered and send all the parts .. I mean send half the money and see if they send you all the parts .. naw.. even if 1600 is cheap for a kit it’s still not peanuts
