imo the oil starvation was your fault if you checked your oil regularly that AP1 engine will still be in that car.

I had a 93 NSX in the early 2000s, today I cannot afford another NSX so I'm getting Honda's next best thing. I'll be getting an S2000 this year (2025) and I WILL daily it, just like I daily'd my NSX. Gonna go with an AP2.

I love my ap1 s2000 in black I got 197k miles on it runs great got retainers and keepers and clutch kit done at LHT I know it’ll last me for more years to come

i got big gains with full bolt ons and 100 octane tune ....still slowish lol need that vortech soon!

I bought my 2001 Ap1 used back in 2008. (Currently have 163k miles) . I still love my s2k engine is stock minus new Ap2 retainers and keepers 1 year ago. Got coilovers I repainted it for the second time early this year… I will keep my s2k for life
