I played the first two mafia games when I was a kid so It was very exciting to see they were revamping these. I just beat the first once. It wasn't just a retextured remaster that still had an outdated engine and outdated physics. It was truly a great remaster. Also the graphics were amazing. Which makes me wonder why they didn't do the same with Mafia 2 definitive Edition.

What I like in Mafia 2 is there are some different ways to finish missions, like the fuel stamps one, disabling the alarm (even though it doesnt tell you to) makes it easier to complete. and people reacting to you when you are dirty and covered in sewer waste lol

The Reason why Mafia 1 so such an improvement is Mafia 2 & 3: Definitive Edition are remasters and Mafia 1 is a Remake some remasters are super impressive but its rare

Fair enough, I wouldn’t really know because I never played the original. It does seem like the mafia 2 and 3 definitive editions didn’t branch out on gameplay as much because at the end of the day, these ones aren’t remakes, as mentioned. Which makes sense

Absolutely!! Just put the aim assist on high 😅😅. Trust me still challenging but it makes it soooooo much more playable. Same with the first game

graphics look shit compared to mafia 1 running and gunplay also feels horrible cant start from last checkpoint cant skip drive so i deleted the game after a few chapters

Don’t quit just slow down around the big turns and u will be fine

I had no issue with that one, i was in first place after lap 2. Make sure to slow down big times with turns, and use the hand brake to help correct direction even more. Good luck. That game is amazing
