I do agree. We need to look at the purpose of reading. I read out loud more often because I want to practice my pronunciation, but to be honest I don't get the content of what I read, just read like a machine.

Before I watch this vedio, I always read aloud, also all english skill trainer in my country too😂. Now, I notice, read silently make me more understand the content of what I read and also grammer too.

I read aloud every once in a while, it's easier for me to focus on what I'm reading. But after a while I end up hoarse lol
