It's always easier to prevent a problem than to have to fix one. Thanks for the good info.

Prevention is key in almost all the work we do. Pay attention to the details and you won't have to pay cash down the road to fix it. Thanks for watching!

Is there a tecumseh style carb that can replace a B&S Nikki type carb for snowblowers? 9.5hp B&S Craftsman snowblower.

i got a carb without a bolt on the bottom where you plug into it how do i check it for the bowl, i replaced it under a year ago because of leaking gas, got white smoke and gas in my oil now. don't mind getting a different one if its got a bolt to get in but can't find a way in on the modle that I know fits
@IndRepair Жыл бұрын
They all should come apart. I have only ever seen a couple designs that wouldn't. If it has a fuel solenoid the whole assembly normally screws out to remove the bowl

@@IndRepair turns out you put a wrench between the bucket and plug Issue is its plastic and cannot adjust the float so what you get is what you get. Idk if another module is compatable
What about aftermarket vs OEM "plastic" carburetors, such as those found on small engine products, like walk behind or self-propelled lawn mowers, etc., with the Briggs & Stratton engines, that utilize such? Would the same concept apply w/regard to those, as well? Probably need to look out for "plastic" shavings &/or fragments, too? And if so, I imagine that would probably also apply to Briggs & Stratton OEM plastic carbs, based upon your other ("Metal In Carburetor Bowl? Think Because It Is OEM Or Name Brand There Is Quality Control?") video, at kzbin.info/www/bejne/hnKZeJmLmKyAgas ? Thanks, in advance.

So I’m guessing you should at least try to clean out before installing
@IndRepair2 жыл бұрын
Should definitely do a full clean on any carburetor you install! Thanks for watching!
