In honesty, if Excalibur do not reinstate those amenities like access to the swimming pool lounge, they will lose their customers. And especially when travel by air becomes only for the very privileged, it can be another one bites the dust. Just like with shopping malls... If the large complex only caters to family dollar stores clients, you will never see me in that shopping mall. LOL FACTS.🙄

What I appreciate about this couple is their humor and they keep it real. Unlike other KZbinrs or IG influencers, they try out the standard rooms that most people will stay at and want reviews for rather than all the comped/deluxe penthouse suites that not everyone can afford for their vacations. I really like Excalibur. Every time I go in there expecting it to suck, it just doesn't. It's no Bellagio, but it's not supposed to be. I've stayed there three times with zero issues. I never do the pool, so if it stinks... It's no issue for me. The ONLY thing I've seen that bothers me is the abundance of kids. This in itself isn't TOO bad, but there are usually too many unsupervised kids running around; presumable to and from the arcade to where ever their parents are. (Not that it happens all the time, but occasionally.) Glad you had fun!

Stayed at Excalibur mid week 2x in 2021 and it was very good. Pool was great didn't notice any smell. Rooms were clean but tired and outdated but only paid $68 and that included resort fee. Slots were looser than other casino's and there is a ton of slot machines. Great location, specially if you take public transportation. CX bus downtown takes 15-20 min. Didn't eat at Bucca di Beppo but they do have an all day happy hour $6.00 frozen margaritas that crept up on the old noggin. Only draw back to Excalibur imo is the limited food options. But I don't care because I go elsewhere for awesome food in Vegas. Thanks to folks like you and all the foodie vids. Thank you TIUW : ) Peace

When you're a newcomer to Vegas and just happy to be there, Excalibur isn't bad. It's only when we've been to Vegas several times and gotten "resort bougie" that we start noticing everything wrong with it. I'm definitely guilty as charged 😂

So true. I can chart my whole life by the hotels I've stayed at in Vegas lol. In my 20s it was Excalibur or Imperial Palace, then I moved up to like Monte Carlo or Treasure Island in my 30s, and now I like the Palazzo or Cosmopolitan in my 40s. :) Also realizing that I've seen a lot of casonos come and go in that time.

Great, and fun review as always! Your reviews are always objective but fun and upbeat . My last stay there was fine. The room was a bit tired, but clean. Excalibur has the lowest price for a hotel on the strip. While it’s on the south end of the strip, it’s a little bit closer to the middle of the strip than Luxor or Mandalay Bay. MGM comped me a few nights and I am staying here for five nights over Labor Day for $200 including fees and taxes. You can’t stay in a Motel 6 for that price! Most of us are on the go all day and night so I look at a room is a place to sleep, as long as it is quiet and comfortable and clean, I don’t need to pay $400 a night. I will have a lot of extra money for gambling and shows. Luxor is always also another great low priced option and a bit nicer, but it cost a bit more than Excalibur.

Yup agreed, last time I was there I was pleasantly surprised, great Bang for your buck, and the buffet is better at a better price than ( can't believe I'm saying it) MGM. Some furnishings ar a bit banged up but it's clean, and I don't spend that much time in the room anyways, so it's all good! shure wish the buffet was open on weekdays, not just weekends though.

I’ve stayed there twice, 1993 and 1995, and enjoyed my stays both times. I’ve visited it several times during other trips. It was ‘fresher’ then simply because it was only a few years old at that point. I agree with other posters that it isn’t Bellagio or Caesars and I agree that it never aimed or claimed to be. Excalibur opened at the start of ‘themed’ resorts and it does that pretty well. If it’s your first time going to Vegas or you’re wanting to spend less on a hotel to have more for other activities, Excalibur is a good choice. Generally the quality of a good Super 8 or Comfort Inn in most areas of the country. Don’t expect all the bells and whistles but, if you’re just using the room to sleep or rest up, that can be a good thing. The biggest downside is that it’s on the bottom end of the Strip, so it can take a good bit of walking, Uber, taxi, etc, to get to the center of the Strip. Yes, it’s only a mile or so, but it’s a mile or so through the only place in the US with more distractions per foot than a Disney World resort.

I just was at the Excalibur first week of March. It was my 4th time staying there and it was allright. Its affordable, had good Housekeeping and i was close to the pool and didnt smell a thing. In this price range absolutely fine! Would def come back a 5th time!

I too was at the castle in March and my stay was excellent. My room was clean. Housekeeping was on the spot and my room pose no issues. I have stayed at the Excalibur 4 times now and will always choose whenever l return to Vegas.

Thats a spicy a meatball!! Use to eat Buca a lot in California but seems the quality has really gone downhill the last few years. Excalibur will be the next to go after the Mirage. The outside looks like it is made with legos. Nice job!!! As a rideshare driver I gave one of the dancers from thunder down under a ride, his name was Alex if I remember correctly, nice guy.

Me and another driver from the Houston area parked our trucks and trailers in their parking lot one time and stayed overnight. I literally SLAUGHTERED the slots that night! Never won that much ever again ANYwhere else since! …and, believe me I don’t think there’s many casinos i HAVEN’T been to across this great country while I was in trucking! Lol! My update is i went to vegas during the week in feb.I had to walk through to get to the Titanic exhibit at Luxor,and Excalibur literally stunk in the middle of the day.I couldnt walk fast enough ... I am an ex smoker who smokes on vacation sometimes and i couldnt do it .I couldnt even try a slot machine in there.

Great video. I was worried hearing your room and hotel choice but was pleasantly surprised. Some of the reviews on TripAdvisor are downright crazy. If you ever get an opportunity, our favorite restaurant is El Segundo Sol in Fashion-show Mall. While its been a few years, their chile relleno is absolutely to die for and they have secret off menu salsas that are really fun.

I also watch All you can Vegas and commented on their channel how these KZbinrs all go to the same places, I mentioned Cabo Wabo and a few others and the response I got was a link to their Gordon Ramsay reviews. As I’m in Canada and there’s still too many travel hoops for us, I’d sure like to see Vegas videos from some more outside the box places.
