SHOULD You Visit TWO MEDICINE in GLACIER NATIONAL PARK?

i spent 35 years hiking/climbing Glacier Park. i put on over 6000 trail miles and summited peaks well over 100 times. Two Medicine is exceptional. Scenic Point is a great early season 4 mile/2500' hike. Two Medicine Pass and Cobalt Lake is a fabulous full day 16 mile round trip. Dawson/Pitamakan is another long day wonderful hike. Pitamakan Pass is glorious!! the fishing at Old Man Lake is great... the hikes around the lake and to Upper Two Medicine Lake are fun easy hikes. i love Two Medicine!!!

There is a parking lot right near Two Medicine Lake and you can also park in the campground, as well.

Hi Alex, great video and full of good advice. I am coming to Glacier NP and would like to know the likliness that the 2 Medicine Rd into the park will be closed, as well as the Rt49 highway that leads to to the 2 Medicine from East Glacier would be open. Overall in early to mid October is it not a good idea to visit Glacier NP due to road closings?

Hey, there! Unless there is a lot of snow, it’s likely that the road will still be open! Facilitates will be closed, but that’s one of my favorite times to visit the park!
