I tend to do just exhibition comps/lifts now. I prefer doing them, as often it's like "most reps on x weight" stuff. I prefer that to one rep max stuff, as now I'm a little older I find max weight has a higher risk on injury. But I still coach a few competitors and take them to traditional powerlifting comps. I may come back to powerlifting for the odd one when I'm in the masters category which will be just under 3 years time - it's harder competing with lads 12 or so years younger than me lol
