Yea, bought this game 'cause Shovel Knight, but I'm exactly like you: I can't stand losing everything and I can't stand being rushed. At least I got it on sale, but I'm probably never going to boot it up again. Sucks.

Actually he often played really fast like he was rushed but you don't really get the sense of being rushed in the game. Like only if you hang around for a really long time there'a big saw blade that shows up, but I don't think he even saw it at any time.

To be fair 50 bucks is not a lot of money for a one time investment. That's like one fill of gas for your car, or a meal at the restaurant or 1 video game on discount. As long as you got a job that's it's something you should be able to spend on whatever you feel worth it. And if Ryu provides them entertainment they want to give something back it's cool for both sides.

@@jmoriarty8000 I would rather ask what their other expenses are xD Ryu streams 1-2 times a week? That's 200-400 bucks per week at least. That is about the same money I have to spend every month for one of my 2 children. So without kids I would be able to spend this money on something else Would not donate all of it to a streamer, not even Ryu^^ - but since you asked for the job: I work as a Project Manager in Web commerce projects. Pretty much everyone in these projects is around the same salery range so maybe this is a satisfying answer for you?

Is it me or does this game look pretty identical to Warioland 4 for gba but with more complicated stages? The art is very similar as well as the gems are almost the same. The way you dig and break through areas of the stage are the same too..

@@overlordalfredo na I actually thought this was a WW4 hack when I started watching. And that GBA influence is 100% as intentional as the NES look was in Shovel Knight Classic. The overly washed-out color pallet, the look and feel of the geometry and sprites... this is as GBA as it gets, and WW4 is the game I immediately jumped to as well. Maybeee Metroid Fusion.

@@NoName-cz3wn what is WW4 are you talking about Warioland 4? Also I am not saying it's not 16-bit look, it definitely is. But it bare way more similarities to classic Sega 16-bit than GBA. The art style is much more similar to Rocket Knight Adventures or Havoc or Dynamite Headdy. Warioland 4 had a more "pixelated" appeal due to the GBA not being entirely able to display the 16-bit on screen. Unless you remember GBA games from am emulator of higher res displays that is... Also, Shovel Knight being a hack?! Seriously... The first game is a famous classic and the name shovel knight is super popular!
