The North Shore of Lake Superior is one of the most incredible places in nature that I have ever visited. I wanted to return this fall for a long weekend with some camping and day hikes. My girlfriend and I stayed at Lamb's Resort and did some car camping with easy access to some of the best hiking around.
This video was our second hike, Shovel Point, which is accessible via the Tettegouche State Park visitor center. This is an easy hike, about 1.5 miles round trip, and includes stunning overlooks of the rolling hills in the area, as well as the sheer cliffs along the shore of Lake Superior. We clocked the hike at just over an hour, so it's perfect for a short day hike if you don't have a lot of time on your way up the North Shore, or on the way home. Though busy due to its accessibility, the dramatic views cannot be disputed as a must-see.
There are two more hikes to come, so please like & subscribe if you enjoyed this and want to see more!
Thank you so much for watching!! Let me know any feedback you have and I'll see you next time.
