You should see them live to really appreciate their music. I've never seen anyone play drums with 1 hand ..keyboard with the other and harmonica on top of that. Not to mention guitar. Oh and both of them can do this. 😱😊😍

I am fascinated by the transformation of Ms. Hearst. She appears to be two women, hair, body shape etc. Her voice is a composite of Parton, Lynn, Nicks, Raitt, Joplin etc. What a sound! Jack White must be wriggling with envy, re: their lyrics and style. Amazing duo.

I want to send this song to my husband. With my rheumatoid arthritis being the "devil" in my life, him & the kids are all that's keeping me here. I fight every day to find my way back, but those "apples" aren't helping much anymore, yet what a have to take to keep going still keep me crawling on the floor. Yes, it is amazing what we do, what we have to do.
@barbaricviking8 жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear about your pain. Have you looked into any natural remedies for arthritis?
@km375758018 жыл бұрын
There's no cure for rheumatoid arthritis, & I also have ankylosing spondolysis which is another type of arthritis that affects the joints in my pelvis resulting in knots on my lower back that make sitting a new level of hell. My own immune system is attacking me. Affecting the joints all over my body as well as my hearing, my eyes & other body organs. Believe it or not,it's not just the joints; it really does affect the whole body, to a lesser degree, but enough to disrupt your life. The information you hear about makes it seem like it's only the joints, but it's not. The only things that the doctors have are meds to slow it down, but the pain remains excruciating, & the meds can kill you. Natural 'treatments' such as vitamins, & minerals, nutrition, etc help some, but they can cause as many complications as they help, if you take too much of the wrong thing. Other "treatments" are nothing but 'snake oil', worthless,& dangerous: as it prevents you from getting proven physician-tested treatments. I also have diabetes (another autoimmune disease), & tachycardia(rapid heartbeats) as well, which makes my treatment more difficult. I want to be more active in my life, but I have to take large doses of narcotics just to fix supper, which I don't get to do often (I miss it). I HATE taking pain pills! I am on a continuous dose of fentanyl in a patch delivery system, & that's not enough for increased activity, it only is a maintenance dose to keep me from writhing in agony. (melodramatic? . . .NO, it really IS that bad) Rheumatoid arthritis affects most EVERY joint in your body. If the left joint hurts the right one does too. Imagine both knees hurting, & swollen at the same time (hard walking?), now imagine the tiny joints in the balls of your feet that allow your toes to move joining in on the party, now a hard time walking becomes almost impossible. Swollen finger joints, wrists joints, elbows, shoulders, (on BOTH sides of your body)....now, how do you hold a cane, or push a wheelchair, or get in & out of an electric wheelchair? Simple tasks such as tieing your shoes, buttoning clothes, opening doors, stiring a pot of soup becomes Mount Everest Yes,it's the same thing Prince died from, but it has saved my life!!!! I was contiplating suicide because the pain was never ending, I was taking narcotics that would only last 3 & 1/2 hours then it would take 30 to 45 minutes for the next dose to start working & they are not to be taken more than every 4 hours. The gastrointestinal upset was severe. It was a rollercoaster of relief, & agony. With the patch, I don't have the side effects I did in the past,& I have continuous pain control. I have kids, I don't want to leave them, but what kind of life is watching your mother cry in agony, & not be able to do anything. Now I can be there for my kids even though I'm in the bed 24 hours a day, I am lucid. And I'm pain free most of the time, except when I get out of bed to do anything, then I need extra meds, especially if I have to ride in a vehicle to go to the doctor. I want to do more, & I'm lonely. Don't get me wrong, my family are in my room everyday, but I want more. That's more information than you asked for, or probably even want, but there it is. If you want a cause to fight for, support The Juvenile Arthritis Foundation. Those kids haven't even had a chance to live, & their agony is even worse. I challenge all those who read this to take up the cause & donate. The agony I'm in can't compare to the agony I would feel to watch one of my kids go through it! Two of my boys have undiagnosed migraines (the kind that put you down for days) they suffer & there's nothing I can do. That's another good cause to donate to, for research & treatment of migraines, of which there's currently no cure. Just check out the organizations before you hand over your hard-earned cash, & keep receipts for tax write-offs, every dollar counts. Thanks for listening to a lonely old hag!
