You probably already know this by now, but you don't have to level Shadowheart up to "learn" command. She already knows it, since it's a 1st level spell. She just doesn't start with it memorized.

Great video! I love messing with the game mechanics and Larian is to be saluted for not shutting down alternative play throughs. My latest discovery is you can keep your character back when the druid gate battle starts. Then you can sneak past the battle to grab items and wreak havoc in the open world. Good times.

I know I saw someone months or maybe even years ago kill the red dragon with a bunch of oil barrels suddenly blown up before the cutscene, but I have no idea how they did it! I think it was not coded as a real red dragon, so there was no experience from it.

Oooh I mean I could definitely have my spider familiar bring explosive barrels over, but there's no way there's enough of them to deal 256 damage and as far as I know the dragon isn't spawned in until you walk out on the ledge

I don’t even know how I figure weird stuff out most of the time. It just happens because I was trying something absurd. This video happened because I wanted to see if I could get caustic acid under the feet of Zhalk and the two mind flayers before triggering the cutscene (to see if it damaged them). That’s it, that was my entire goal for them. Then it escalated

So i got my tav in the back of the control room but every time i approach the 3 adds in the back it procs the cutscene for the fight at the entrance, so one of the mind flayers die :/ ugh... I don't want to lose that xp...

My belief is that you can’t get exp from the mind flayer that dies in the cutscene. Which is a bummer since that was the biggest thing I wanted

@@Fracture.Gaming I used to kill Zhauk and the mind flayer with 3 oil barrels. Just have to wait until they get low. The tricky part was killing the other 2 cambions because they would always end up stopping at a random location. Now i'm combining your backdoor strat with the oil barrels and it worked out nicely. I left a bunch of barrels in the tunnel with shadowheart out there. They will spawn and attack her, if she dies you use la'zel to ress her using the heal fountain. Anyways, the 2 adds will stop by your oil barrel set up, so you blow them up with SH (almost 10 barrels if you grab them all). They will most likely get 1 shot. The key now is to do all that under 15 rounds, because on full release the ship will crash in 15 rounds after the cutscene starts.

Umm I can’t remember for sure, so I’ll just say somewhere between 1 and 6 hours. Now that I know how everything works I could probably do it in 30 minutes? Although I already got what I wanted, which was pushing the invulnerable zhalk off the ship to see what happens so I’m not sure if I’d do it again.

Я попытался убить тех скрытых импов, но максимум смог только 5 убить. Еще несколько раз пытался убить этих импов другими классами, кидая огонь алхимика, а затем масло. Импы урон получали, но не умирали. Думаю, повторять все показанное в видео бессмысленно, потому что экспу за второго иллитида не дают. Я попробовал начать бой с командиром Жалком и двумя иллитидами, но урон по ним не проходит до тех пор, пока катсцену не активируешь. Я поступил немного по другому, разделил один бой на 2. Шэдоухарт в главный зал не заходит, а ждет 2-х камбионов на входе в комнату с восстанавливающим устройством. Камбионы появляются, агрятся на Шэдоухарт, а та их ведет к обрыву и сталкивает. А затем убил командира Жалка, забрал шмотки, закончил пролог. Опыта получил меньше, чем на видео, но все равно неплохо

It actually started with a very simple thought: why can I see the red dragons health bar? Then I found the imps, and I wanted to try to kill the commander and mind flayers before triggering the cutscene so I started looking for a way to get acid under their feet and accidentally found a way inside. And you saw the rest, lol

I have managed to kill that guy and get his sword a couple of times. I used everyone including the little brain to do it. Once done, I dash with haste to escape. Once on planet, I gather Shadowheart and Wyll and go kill Astarion... I really dislike him so he must die. I have about 316 hours in. I still have a lot to explore, I just hold back because I want some of it to be new on launch day.
