Tbh my ex is just making me confused, first he leaves then suddenly came back after hearing that I've met another guy, next he's telling me let's get back together and when I'm trying to discuss it he suddenly say out of nowhere we're just friends. I feel like he's just messing around.

If he dumped/initiated the breakup with you, then continue with what you're doing until he makes up his mind to really get back together with you and proves it. Here's this to consider: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpOngaRoaL6UhKc so take the free quiz if you wanna know what your chances are, at www.breakupbrad.com/quiz However, that kind of behaviour coming from your ex is somewhat expected after a breakup. That's why you ought to give it enough time where there's totally no contact between you and your ex for at least 30 days. A wide array of different emotions coming from an ex is somewhat expected when a breakup is still fresh and this includes the likelihood of your ex giving you mixed or weird signals. Watch this: y2u.be/siApAVtx8zE This is why I tell people to cut off contact for at least a month first and NOT deal with this ex. You both need to clear your minds first, all right? A breakup hurts both people in it regardless of who has done the breaking up. This is something I've discussed here, so watch it to learn a few tips to help you on how to go about it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5ytYqyYqqt8fqc

Its already been 2 months since he left me, i m loosing hope, i think i was the one who made him like this. Maybe i pushed him too hard . I still miss him everyday 🙂 but recently i made a mistake i asked one of our mutual friend about him , im scared what if he shared this message to my ex bf 🙁

Each of us is responsible for their own choices and decisions. It's important you hold your ex accountable as well as yourself for what went down and not totally blame it on you except if you royally messed up like cheating or something equally offensive and heartbreaking.

@@BradBrowning hello Brad, I breakup happened 4 months before. After 2 months, she told me that i have changed, i am loving her more than before but the hurting memories which she had are still hurting. Even after these months she haven't moved on. And i even tried no contact. She said she is still hurt and she knows i am a better person. She responds to my call. She even looked into my LinkedIn in no contact period. Right now I have ended my no contact period and messaged her. She haven't replied untill now. Suggest me what step could be taken in the case where she still cares about me but the hurt which she got before was still hurting?

Unless your situation falls under one or more of the scenarios here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5zCZaqmoLtpbMU AND kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWjMdGCdfdKNaKM it's best you ignore contact from your ex. If your ex continues to reach out to you during the no contact stage, however, then this really depends on the frequency and nature of the contact from your ex and whether or not you've reached the phase where you're supposed to be talking again. The only exception is if your ex asks for you back and is sincere about it. If your ex continually messages you, then it’s important to put your ex’s messages into context, more so if this happened during the “no contact” phase. Is your ex trying to contact you about something really important, like an emergency, unpaid bills, or something equally urgent? These are reasons to respond, including messages where they get angry due to your lack of response. Discussed that in full detail here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYXNdnR9f7yHq6M So if your ex is really just texting some useless random stuff and/or asses their power over you, then you can just ignore and continue on with the 30-day "no contact" rule. Use your discretion. Watch and follow the tips here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJiyeGypZsuUmZo

Hey brad! I need a quick advice! My ex dumped me for almost a month ago and have been on no contact for the last 3 weeks. This is my last week of no contact before trying to reach out to her. I still want her back! But deep inside of me wants her to reach out to me instead of me reaching out to her because she was the dumper. What should i do? Should i reach out after no contact? Or wait for her to reach out to me and continue contact? Love your videos! Really helped men thru no contact periods.
@BradBrowning

Do it when you're ready and when you're stable enough emotionally where you don't care much which response you get. But yes, once you've already completed the full 30-day "no contact" rule and assuming you did it correctly, then the texting tips here will be a good starter: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqDRfqeCe9RjZpI but make sure you tick off the checklist here first: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eHLLfqWjrJiGo9U This means you take time focusing on the second phase and eventually the third phase when the time is right. This won’t happen overnight, of course, but it’s something you ought to continue to work on to the point where you’re gradually building attraction again. This is what my guide is for. Have you checked it out yet? It's too complicated to explain everything on here, but here's an overview of these phases and what to expect in each one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5aqf4N4mdWhqas Good luck!

Great video!!! One of the best. I got a question. What if an ex thought and still thinking and saying (a month and a half after the breakup, I’m in no contact but somebody in common told me) that “We are not compatible”. She really thinks that is one of the major reasons of the breakup. We both noticed we are different in some things but I still believe in our future and relationship together. With that said, Is there a chance for her to come back or give the relationship another chance in the future? I think it will be tough in this case. What do you say? Thank you so much!

Your ex is most likely lying about the reason of the breakup so try not to fall for that. Discussed that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKariHaNmqxkrtU However, the bottom line is your ex has significantly lost attraction. Watch what I’ve explained here and watch the entire length of the video to gain full understanding, as well as know what to do: y2u.be/E9wG_ErBQoI It’s important to rebuild the attraction naturally so your ex will be amenable to working things out, eventually. Hi Brad. I'm seeing this guy and we've met thrice now. He is a workaholic so we don't get to hang out often. Our conversations are also a bit sporadic as he replies at a dinosaur pace. I think he's secure leaning towards avoidant. I am anxious. He told me recently that he wasn't sure about wanting commitment at the moment. He seemed more earnest about wanting something serious before. Idk what changed. He was cheated on in the past and has a fear surrounding that happening again and also losing his freedom in a relationship. I feel that's what's stopping him from committing to me. Is there a way I can reassure him by comforting words that I wasn't gonna take away his freedom or cheat on him?

Meeting up is not a good idea at all. You're only making this harder to yourself than it has to be. The 30-day "no contact" rule can work for you in the following ways: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKiTdJurjah4o9k Your ex is diverting his/her attention to someone else, which is the easiest thing to do and is really just his/her way of coping. If anything, your ex is suffering, too, even though it may not seem like it. Discussed that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXyoZ6GYaZKhmqM So that's what you ought to be doing too. Here, watch this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYalf5dspal8hK8 so try to put your focus elsewhere because your ex is likely rebounding and you're only wasting precious minutes of your life worrying about something that's out of your control whether the rebound ends up working out or not. Watch this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/inPXk2ZqnN5psNk Now lastly, keep in mind that your ex is suffering too, even though they try to cover it up. Discussed that here: y2u.be/7KE6nb4-ndA

How can you show them you've changed if they've blocked you on all social media platforms?
@BradBrowning
@BradBrowning Жыл бұрын
If you do have to make some changes, then do it for yourself and never for anyone else, okay? See, making changes for the sake of someone is considered seeking validation, and that's an unattractive trait in and of itself… so it naturally won't do anything to rebuild the attraction necessary to get your ex back in the long run. On the other hand, if these are changes that you know within yourself that you need to make, then it's important to take time so be sure you aren’t rushing it because permanent, lasting changes don't happen overnight and your ex can actually see through it. Also, pain (that's why your ex dumped you) is a very good teacher and motivator not to mention a huge catalyst, so making these changes within yourself in order for the possibility to come back together stronger and better is what you can expect and you will be able to use this progress if not for your ex, then with someone new. Does that make sense? With that in mind, watch this vid to subtly show these changes to your ex: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mIuUfJiqdrGNqMU

Hi Brad, After a phase of no contact and I established contact with my ex but he doesn't reciprocate the energy, I always be the first to initiate talk, so I decided to stop reaching out.. I found out he is telling one of his close person that he is considering getting back together with me, but he is confused, Maybe he has a rebound or so. He ask him about me anytime he communicate with that person but doesn't reach out to me, What will I do at this point sir...
@BradBrowning
@BradBrowning 2 жыл бұрын
You don't have to talk everyday even after the "no contact" phase. You're on the right track, assuming you've done the first phase (30-day "no contact" rule) correctly and basically had set the stage for this second part. Be sure to check out my other videos for more tips on how to go about this, especially this: y2u.be/gUBNd6pDINM Since you've only recently reconnected, then don't expect your ex to warm up easily. Getting an ex back is a process. Here's a short infograph to guide you in each process: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXvXnomYedCVotk Look out for the signs that your ex has moved on, though: y2u.be/TnZzeEIPEik But evaluate things, too. Are you sure you're not trying to rush it? Setting a deadline is a good way to fail when it comes to exes, so I highly discourage it. What steps have you taken to get your ex back? It's time to re-assess those and see what's working versus what's not working. Sometimes, getting an ex back is like trying to fit a square into a circle, but oftentimes, chances are you're letting emotion dictate you and therefore end up making the wrong choices. Have you checked out my guide yet? It’s ultimately up to you to act (or not act, depending on which phase you’re in) on getting your ex back, but it helps if you read it to ensure that you’re on the right track. Check it out at www.breakupbrad.com

Hey Brad my girlfriend of 11 years suddenly became depressed/distant and broke up with me out of nowhere. She says I was too distant and too focused on work and that she lost attraction. We’ve broken up multiple times and always got back together. This time we were actually doing very well compared to other times and we were planning on getting married this year. She was excited to get married and always talked about our future. I did mess up and was not present a lot of the times because I was focused on working to get married and buy a home for the both of us. I’m moving out soon and messed up by begging. She seems to be focused only on the negatives in order for her to resist or even think of getting back together. Should I do no contact for 30 days? I’m so confused how she went from loving me crazy to being so cold and distant. We’re still communicating and we’re able to deescalate the tension. Any advice…?

@BradBrowning
@BradBrowning 2 жыл бұрын
Really sorry to hear that. Being cheated on is truly one of the biggest heartaches you could ever experience, relating closely and coming second to grieving for the death of a loved one. There's no easy way to say this but the answer is is to move on, especially if your ex doesn't seem to be regretting their actions and/or making a solid effort to get back together after giving each other some time and space apart. While the situation is truly painful for you, it gives you the most growth as well so take that time to rediscover yourself and your own strength in getting through this. So really, my suggestion is to heal from this and be open to new possibilities. That really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. Maybe stop trying to look at your ex's profile/messages/snaps, posts, etc.? An essential part of the "no contact" rule is to turn your focus inwards for a good 30 days straight, and looking at what your ex is doing and whatnot largely deviates from that point, don't you think? Discussed that here, too: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6PSfY1tjbBsnbs

Hey Brad, I am a gay and we both fell in love with each other on January 2021 , it was perfect for both as we use to understand eachother and very happy but aftr a year we got into distance relationship due to our job and had misunderstanding and fights as well over the phone. We use to have fights related to smallest thing. He is a wonderful guy, but i cheated on him and he broke up on August 2022 aftr knowing that i am cheating. I really love him alot , but he is not able to forget things and get back. 3 days ago we had phone call and we talked with eachother well. But the next morning he remembered the old things again. I regret doing this shit and i literally wanna make things fine. Please help

Fighting is often unavoidable, but when it becomes too much, it’s time to nip the problem in the bud if you still can. So it's either that or you go on a break and discuss the logistics as well as how it should go and how long it should be. What were you two fighting or arguing about? It's best to consider the relationship overall first, so watch this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqatd5lrgMiba9E Anyways it's best to give it time because all this arguing had taken a toll in your relationship. This may help: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eHOomZSPaMx_f9k Perhaps you've both argued more than you had a good time with each other? It could also be you're too incompatible or stubborn to meet each other halfway. If the negatives outweigh the positives in the relationship, that's when an imbalance happens and the relationship will keel over wherein one or both people will likely abandon ship, as the case with your ex. It's time to reset things. Start with the 30-day "no contact" rule to get your ex into a psychological neutral. Here's how it can help you: y2u.be/zw0ChuXCEmw

My boyfriend broke up with me because the relationship caused me to fail some exams and he and his job are not doing well. He thinks if he stays in my life I can't do anything in future. I tried to explain him a lot but nothing happened. What can I do when he loves me and is suffering?

It's definitely time to work on yourself first since you're both going through your own thing. Stop forcing things. Try to have self discipline and remember, love should never be forced. Otherwise it becomes an obsession, so be very careful of going that route. If your ex dumped you and showed you he/she doesn't want to be in your life at the moment, you ought to respect that, okay? For most dumpees that is the case. It doesn't mean that will be the case forever but at the moment, it surely is, so respect your ex's need for space and have some self discipline. Focus on yourself instead. Okay? This vid is for you: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYelYZKia5WGpq8

I understand what you're saying, but each person has his/her own reasons for why they either choose to get back together with an ex or let go totally. You can't speak for them because it's their life, not yours to decide. Granted, not all relationships are meant to be salvaged, especially abusive ones and/or one that involve numerous instances of infidelity, but some are worth saving. This all depends on what kind of relationship you have and if you decide to move on or fight for it. There is no wrong answer on whatever your decision is. :-) Anyway thanks for your input!

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but it's time to move on or at the very least, give her some space and don't force things. The relationship has become toxic due to these lies and abuse. Wait for a better time before interacting with your ex, however, don't wait around doing nothing. Take a leap of faith on a new path as well because you never know where life can take you, which may be better without your ex. Use this time to heal and prioritize yourself. But if it's been more than a year or so, make sure to check the signs if your ex has moved on, here: y2u.be/ZyJRphwDca4 and this should help guide you on what to do for the time being: y2u.be/hlikXIfMYN8 However, make it a point to be really productive with your time being apart. I don't see this as a cause for concern really, unless you've done something really epic to mess things up or really hurt your ex, there's no reason to worry as much, really, because it could be due to the top 3 reasons I've stated on this vid: y2u.be/fjtv90o9bkI Blocking you could just be your ex’s way of coping so I wouldn’t worry too much about it if I were you, at least not initially. So give it time. If you stay blocked after months though, then that’s another story, especially if you have no other means of communication or have no mutual friends. More about that on here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a4a3amV_d5qondU Anyway social media should be the least of your concerns. Focus on all three phases and your ex may naturally unblock you, in time, as you learn to rebuild that attraction and re-attract this ex back to your life.. Here are the basics of all three phases to getting an ex back: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5aqf4N4mdWhqas and social-media wise, here (but then again, don't let it become your sole focus) : kzbin.info/www/bejne/emKqoYVrgqajh80 Good luck!

Redo the "no contact" rule and make sure you stick to it this time. But watch this first to help manage your expectations: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hau5qqCPo7Z5is0 Here's how you can tell you're doing the "no contact" rule properly: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nGjdpouhYtiJqas It may help to make use of the clean slate template, which is a free version from a piece of my Ex Factor Guide. Watch this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHyWqaicetx4fMk The main goal is to bring your ex into an emotional neutral state by employing the 30-day “no contact” rule -- let your ex miss you and don't rush it. Play your cards right and notice the world of difference that this can make. Stick to the "no contact" rule this time for at least 30 days. Here's how you can tell it's starting to work: kzbin.info/www/bejne/imW2q2l6nryFqbM AND the importance of silence after the breakup here: y2u.be/zw0ChuXCEmw and in the meantime, this is the principle you ought to follow: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5fFmIhtq5WBr5Y A situation with an ex is often fragile, so you'd really want to omit, if not minimize these mistakes. Start with the 30-day straight "no contact rule. It’s one step forward, two steps backward with an ex & there are no unlimited chances with them, so if you can do it right moving forward, then do so. Check out my guide so you won't end up making the same mistakes. Good luck!

Hi Brad, first of all thank you for your videos, they help a lot. I just want to ask you something really briefly. I was dumped 10 days ago, the day after I had a discussion with him in which I explained some things that I wanted him to know, like reasons why I behaved in some ways due to mental health issues that I am currently trying to resolve step by step. Anyway, I reacted kind of emotional to the break up, not gone too far, I just said to him that I was really hurt by his decision to break up suddenly through a text after so many years of relationship (we aren't long distance, we live near to each other) and I told him it was immature not to talk with me about problems and pretend it was all fine until the last day. I fear that I may have suffocated him by asking for explanations to a sudden break up after almost 5 years and making him notice some of his errors, I was really shocked but I swear my words weren't much rude and I cried as less as possible when talking to him. I suppose he understood my reaction since its action was totally unexpected and he recognized to have made a mistake just texting me to break up, but I fear that it was exactly what he expected from me and I don't want him to expect from me to react too emotionally anymore. However, the conversation at the end did not end in bad terms, we just said goodbye and I said at the end I would leave him the time he needs to be alone without me as he asked, while having the time I need for me as well to recover from the breakup. After that long conversation, I started no contact. Would you suggest to send a clean state message anyway in which I kind of apologize for my emotional reactions on which I am working now, or should I go on with no contact and try to briefly apologize for that reaction after no contact? I just fear that he may still think that I did not accept his decision to break up and wait for him to change it, although I am not doing anything to make him think it at the moment and I honestly do not feel ready to face him, I am just living my life and showing subtly my progress on social media, I'm just worried that he is only focusing on the negative emotions he feels about me to forget me forever. Thank you very much if you will answer, I am too trapped by my thoughts to be objective.

Hello, Brad! I think, it is in vain. Everyday I try to calm down and can't. The thing is it kind of second breakup, but maybe the first. These breakups are 2 years away. And the first was like not relationships at all. Almost 2 years of relationship. And it was all people say as the perfect relations. Even sharing emotions, thoughts. This is the 10th day or maybe the 9th. I stopped counting. It got even worse than it was the first 7 days. Out of this disability to write, get in contact or anything else it feels like I am totally lost.

Sorry to hear you're going through this. But you know they say it always gets worse before things get better? Hang in there and try to process your emotions in a healthy way, okay? Breakups are never easy, I know, so take time out for yourself to feel better without your ex in your life. I say generally it's still fair game unless you see most if not all the signs that your ex is over you. Here's the vid: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKqtg6OerKmWl5Y and especially if those signs prevail over a prolonged period of time. If you're asking about your chances, I really wish I could give you a direct yes or no. However, as it is, each situation is unique, so I suggest you take the free quiz as it hits on the critical elements that will determine your chances depending on your answers. In other words, my quiz can give you a more accurate answer than I can since as you may have noticed, there are various factors at play here which needs to be looked at as well as your own actions after the breakup. If your ex is in the right age to make his own decisions that’s independent from their parents, then there may still be a chance. Otherwise, it's best to consider moving on from this, okay? I’m not quite sure why parents had to get involved in the first place. It's either you're both too young to date or it has something to do with culture. Understand that the choice is ultimately up to your ex on whether to fight for you or not despite the opposition going on. Good luck!

Hi Brad idk if you're also coaching for LGBTQ couples.. My ex and I haven't grown together in our relationship we were almost 1 year but we decided to end things together. But my ex still chat and worry sick about me. we weren't both understanding our differences and we lack communication. Although we have so many baggages within one another we did have a big chemistry and genuinely love each other. Can we still save this after a long while? I wanted to grow first individually knowing my self worth to be better for him. Edit: I wanted him to heal too because he's been through a lot of traumas and I wasn't understanding him not until we had our final day together and closure. We had a mutual decision breakup for the best of us to grow individually. It was a healthy breakup and closure.

My girlfriend and I have been together for 6 months and things got intense kinda fast. We ended up sharing a lot of space and time and I worry that we suffocated each other. Things were amazing until we returned to school. She told me when we broke up that she wanted to stay close and continue to get meals and hangout together like friends. I am currently in no-contact and have gotten mixed messages from her. The day after we broke up we actually had to cohost an event together for our college’s orientation team. We had a good time, but I could tell she was trying to resist showing a connection because it was the day after we broke up. We then had a very intimate, emotional conversation after the event and I got the impression she is handling it all worse than me. She told me that she had been crying 24/7 and that suggests to me that she is conflicted. What should I do next? Should I be friends with her and try to win her back by spending time with her or should I keep no contact (currently going into week 2, it’s weird because no contact was originally her idea before I even found this channel)

I’m trying to implement the no contact rule but all of my stuff is still at our mutual place while I’m staying with my parents and my ex stays there. My stuff is literally half the stuff there so it can’t just casually stop by and go get it…..So I worry the no contact rule just makes it seem like I’m putting off moving on from them. Also I’ll be forced to see them anyway in good terms or bad. My best thought is a clean slate text saying I’ll finalize the move out after the next month which will be “very busy for me”… Advice?

@@BradBrowning thanks for the response. The issue is that it’s half the stuff there and cannot be casually removed. It would take getting a storage unit and a moving truck etc. It would be a long and major process so i was thinking to try 30 days no contact before the move out while saying I’ll be too busy for the next month. I sent this in sort of clean slate text format. I have all essentials already

The 30-day "no contact" rule can work for you in the following ways: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKiTdJurjah4o9k Your ex is diverting her attention to someone else, which is the easiest thing to do and is really just her way of coping.

Hey Brad. I'm new to the scene here but my s/o just broke up with me due to the stress about not being able to let go of our past( how we got together in the beginning and how I have hurt her before making her think that she is just a rebound or second option). We've dated for 2 months and we had a lot of sweet moments but she is hung up on the past which is how we began and is always stressed about not being to let go and she said it has been rough for her. She is tired and thinks that it is suffering and it will be better that we became friends back. She said she's a person who has hard time letting go about the past and the choice of letting me go really pains her. She felt that if we continued she will be more tired and we wouldn't be able to proceed to the next stage hence she doesn't want to think about the past and does not have the courage of to move on which finally led to her breaking up with me. We broke on good terms and she still admits she has feelings for me, so i am really lost and do not know what to do at this point.( I scored 70 in your quiz)

Don't do it, man. She's lost attraction for you and it's a terrible idea to be friends with her. You ought to cut off contact for at least 30 days first. Silence is key and here's why: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKiTdJurjah4o9k If you continue being friends right away, the boundaries won't be clear and you're technically both free to date other people. Wouldn't it be pure torture if your ex dates a rebound in front of you because you're only "friends" now, don't you think? So it’s not a good idea, especially if you want this ex back. Watch these two videos so you’ll know why being friends won’t lead you anywhere you wanna be with your ex and how to get out of this trap, respectively at kzbin.info/www/bejne/pqfClJ2wnbt-d7s and kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYSXh2d_hMiCndU but read my Ex Factor Guide since that’s much more detailed and so you'll know how to go about it, what to do after each phase (there are three phases in total), including what to say, do or not do, along with bonus materials for texting. How long has it been since the breakup and have you cut off contact for 30 days yet? If you haven't cut off contact yet for at least 30 days, then you should prioritize that instead of interacting with your ex. On the other hand, IF you have already cut off contact, then you're on the right track. There's no need to redo the no contact just because it didn't exactly went well the first time or you're not getting the response you anticipated. Watch this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gX6wp2yin8mloc0 and be guided accordingly based on the phases of what needs to happen, here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXvXnomYedCVotk

my 2yrs relationship with my ex ended with her asking for space, which i handled fairly well. we had an intimate wonderful relation, we were so in love. she kept coming back and forth for about a month. I tried a couple of times talking her about the reasons. she acted warm and loving, but didnt give a specific reason. she finaly said she loves me and want to be with me, so I proposed to her and she said yes. 3days later she broke it up by text and blocked me everywhere. I went immediately NC. its been 2months now and I still hurt. she reached out once on the 10th day of NC we had a casual conversation and then disappeared. is there any hope ? should I continue NC ?

Our families have bonded together. But I did mistakes after the break up and let my emotions get the best of me. I begged him, I talked to his family and we contact each other daily for a week, after I saw your video I did the no contact instantly. I really want us back together because we had a deep connection and I really love him. Any advice?

Redo the "no contact" rule and make sure you stick to it this time, especially if you've begged for quite a while. That space is very much needed. But in order to fully understand how this concept works, watch the free in-depth video on my website to learn some psychology techniques and understand how giving each other space for around a month can benefit you than otherwise, at www.breakupbrad.com

Hey brad, It’s my first time watching your videos,my now ex boyfriend broke up with me two days ago on grounds saying we have failed to match!,it’s a long distance relationship and he leaves 4hrs of travel to where l am,it was confusing to me but honestly l still love him because we were childhood crushes and friends until we met again a year en half back then asked if we could date,so when he called it off two days back might have spoiled the no contact phase,but now after watching you am starting the phase of no contact to see how it goes. Am hopeful this might work because he hasn’t blocked me on any media and he says we can be friends. Do you think it’s a good start for me to bringing him back?

You can be on friendly terms AFTER the "no contact" phase. But being friends right after a breakup is a huge no-no. When a breakup happens, most of the time this means he has lost attraction for you, hence, it's a bad move to be friends with him. You need to cut off contact for at least 30 days first. Silence is key and here's why: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKiTdJurjah4o9k If you continue being friends right away, the boundaries won't be clear and you're technically both free to date other people. Yeah, that's a good transition message. Once you've already completed the full 30-day "no contact" rule and assuming you did it correctly, then the texting tips here will be a good starter: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqDRfqeCe9RjZpI but make sure you tick off the checklist here first: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eHLLfqWjrJiGo9U This means you take time focusing on the second phase and eventually the third phase when the time is right. hello brad. Thank you for all your content, I have been following your advice since 2016, and it was extremely valuable. I am currently dealing with an ex so here is my situation. We broke up in late 2020, I initiated the break up because I needed space to manage my energy. The break up ended pretty messy, really really messy, it escalated to anger and shouting, the relationship was toxic itself. we took revenge on each other few months after the break up, but I was the one who stroke last, since then she swore she will never forgive me for what I did (this happened in January 2021). She moved out of the city for one year and a half. We met once in October 2021, we just made eye contact and I continued my walk, she unblocked me later that day and sent me text saying that she doesn't want us to hold grudges against each others and that she wishes the best for me. Ofc I responded with the same energy wishing the best to her. fast forward, one week ago from the time I am writing this comment, her sister contacted me concerning issues related to my ex, the situation was urgent, so I called my ex right away to inform her of what her sister told me and that she needs to be aware of a particular situation. That phone call that I expected to be just a 5 minutes call ended up becoming a 30 minutes call, she started venting a bit about some issues related to her sister, then she turned to me and started to ask about me, so I suggested maybe we can talk about each other's journeys around a cup of coffee and she gladly accepted. I called Thursday, we talked for 20 minutes just to make her feel a bit comfortable and also let her catch a little bit of my energy before setting up the time and place where we are going to meet. Today we met at a coffeeshop, when we faced each other she hugged me instantly first, we started talking about movies, tv shows, anime, we talked about our own adventures and achievements, we also talked about how we progressed mentally (she is the one that asked I only wanted to keep things light and fun with a little bit of banter), I took the opportunity to showcase a little bit of what I achieved since I have been working hard on myself, mindset, studies, business (made decent amount of money), and also growing some muscle and other new passions. We closed the meeting with a ride on my motorcycle, I took the opportunity to boost adrenaline and of course create that sense of danger and also safety in her mind while she is around me, we used to go on motorcycle rides, I made money and bought and even bigger and more luxurious motorcycle that she was impressed about. We ended the meeting with a hug and aI drove back home. What do you think about this and what should I do next? Note : I have accepted my fate during the no contact phase and moved on, had to relationships and few one night stands, so technically, I used the no contact to live my life and upgrade my lifestyle.
