Just learning the track and path of travel. I commend you on commenting and riding at pace on the track. Awesome job! Ride safe!

This is one of the most satisfying vids I’ve seen from you in a while! More of these are fine with me! And I know what you mean about braking being the scary part. I have the same problem in go karts, but once you’re able to wait another 30ft to get into those brakes, your lap time is gonna drop big!
@yammienoob5 жыл бұрын
For sure! I know that if I could brake even more aggressively and trail further in, it’d drop my times. But personally, I’d rather keep training fundamentals like good lines and good drive than get risky with my braking. All in due time! 👍🏻

The GorillaBiker no kidding! For a stock 675R on Q4’s it’s doing pretty well. I bet if I had a weekend with a liter bike on slicks I could probably clip off 2:10s, but I know there’s huge room for growth on the 675 with Q4’s - just need more practice and more seat time

Careful about pinging the limiter too much on the Daytona, my buddy floated a valve in cylinder #3 2 years ago on his 2013 D675, it took over a year for the engine to be rebuilt (under warranty). I suspect he was on the limiter (gearing requires skirting the limiter on certain straights right before the brake zone) and then leaned the bike a bit before rolling off the throttle during corner entry, pushing the RPM past the limiter and floating the valve.
