Don't need blockers, 99% of the traffic on Angeles Forest Highway is commuters. In the morning all traffic is from Palmdale to L.A and the reverse in the afternoon. AFH is 25 miles long and if you ride off hours it is not uncommon to see only a few cars in either direction. After 3.00 PM its the Angeles Forest 500 with the people going home to Palmdale. Big Tujunga Canyon to AFH is the best route its 10 miles to the stop sign at AFH. I have ridden many times with out seeing any vehicle in either direction, they just repaved it last july, hell ya. At the mid point of AFH is Upper Big Tujunga Canyon, AKA ( 9 mile ) Its 9 miles to Angeles Crest Highway. More motorcycles use this than cars, Its way fast. You can ride it up and back 3 or 4 times and see no cars or bikes. There are lots of video's on KZbin, just enter any road I named and dozens or hundreds will pop up.

I’ve ridden these canyons for over a decade. They’re not sharp but they’re still over “100mph “ corners here and there. If you go by the speedometer you’ll miss the point. What racer has a speedometer in any level of amateur or pro racing level. It’s the depth perception and apex points and how they come into video not the landscape rushing that shows the skill. He’s hitting apexes as if on track which takes no fear ( and no consideration for himself or others).

i drive this road everyday its highway 18 from san bernardino to crestline. ive personally seen 2 riders bodies scooped up, in fact one was on that second turn in the video, and heard of countless others. its super dangerous because rocks seem to fall onto the road with zero wind and most corners are blind with these new center guard rails. its a beautiful ride , you gain like 5k ft of altitude in like 15 minutes but lots and i mean LOTS of riders die on this highway, be safe on it this road and try not to go over like 60 on these corners, lots of surprises waiting for you especially any season outside of summer. once the santa annas are blowing you HAVE to cruise there is no going fast on a bike.

He's one patch of sand away from breaking his body up really bad. On a track, he'll have a chance of just getting up and brushing off his suit and walking away. On the street, he runs a guardrail post between his legs at eighty and it's really bad. Really really bad. I agree with Yammy. This is great riding but it deserves to live on a track, not the street. This far more dangerous than lane splitting at high speed on the interstate. This is instant bad karma when it arrives and it will arrive. Get yourself a track runoff where you get to laugh about it.

Great video as always. Yep, this my first watch of him. He is amazing and I wish him all the luck in the world. I just hope the recognition and publicity he receives doesn’t entice others to do the same. Yikes!!!! 😮

This is quite something! He obviously knows his course already perfectly but still. Very impressive.

If you just look up tail of the dragon I'm sure you will find a rider out there to challenge to a track day.

Deal's Gap is entirely different. Way tighter and technical. There isn't a track like it anywhere as far as I know. The guy is fast but the locals would eat him up on their home court.

We don't have a choice in Honolulu. And I live right off of Tantalus, so its too tempting. But it's mostly switchbacks. You're lucky to hit 100mph.

Fun to watch. He lives there and knows every crack and bump in the road. That's a smooth road. Just a matter of pushing harder each time to see what you can get away with. Notice when he corners he doesn't cross the white line onto the shoulder, because everyone knows that on the shoulder is loose gravel. He'd be dead in a split second at his speed.
