Andy Newman says "The pair of derelict boats you passed near Shrewly tunnel are all that remains of Hotel Boats Mabel and Forget me Not, which I used to run in 1976 and 1977. Tey were ex wooden working boats converted in 1956 at Tooley's yard at Banbury.

Did the Hatton flight many years ago now was hard work for the wife as we went up by our self’s and brought my windless in the shop also too.❤

So nice to see you going through places I’ve been on my short 3 months onboard. I remember getting wet in that tunnel. I moored at the top of Hatton flight for a week, great spot. I saw narrowboat Heidi which I went up Hatton locks with , but not seen my boat , I must have passed you at some point though. Safe traveled and I enjoy your vlogs
