i remember escaping a beating once and thought after finishing school it would have been forgotten about until you walk in the house and see a parent holding the belt that fear is like nothing else

Mom and Dad math is: * Asking your siblings to collect a belt for your beating *Getting mad at you for not cleaning, then you clean and they mess it up *Making you cook and clean for the whole day and then call you lazy when you’re resting and using your phone * Asking you where is the other 6%, when you got a 94% The list could go on 😭😂

As a 33 year old with 2 kids, I agree with most of these 🤣 I don't care if the sun is out, go sleep so I can watch Netflix in peace 😅

I always feel SO attacked when they talk about going to bed with the sun out in the summer time because.... best believe my kids are in bed at 8:30 on a weekday- rain or shine lol

I think my parents had a great setup. Basically I was supposed to be in my room at 8pm (later 10pm) and not make noise. But they didn’t care if I was sleeping or reading, playing games, colouring pictures as long as I was quiet and dealt with the consequences of staying up late. I had problems falling asleep so I often stayed up late and did stuff to get tired. Developed a pretty good routine of my own that way.
