Can we all just remember that it also does not matter if consent was given at one time to begin with?? Consent can be redacted and taken back at any time it does not matter and it isn't an argument that can be made. The fact is he was doing something that CLEARLY hurt and ignored what was very adamantly set as a safe word to stop and also used that safe word as a signal to hurt her even more. There is no argument that can be made in his defense. This is physical abuse.

Yes, also in Tommy's last video he briefly evoked the Wilbur situation (didn't adress it because he's not ready). It was clear that this had upset him a lot and he was still figuring out how to process it. Quackity also briefly spoke about it before being ready to give his full thoughts and as you said he was crying, so yes, let's give people time. Let's not forget that all these people just found out a dear friend of theirs did heinous things. You don't simply digest that in a few days.

Being a longtime fan of Shubble, it's an understatement to say it hurts to hear the clear pain in her voice. No one deserves to go thru what she did, especially not someone as sweet and positive as her. Her story also made me look at my own experiences in a different light. It's b/c if you're a Victim of Abuse especially if you're a Woman, then it's, "All Your Fault." In this Society, we are literally taught and conditioned that anything BUT physical abuse is not abuse. It's really sad that it's gotten to this point. When l heard “ Wilbur twitter allegations” l though it was so fake twitter drama since that happens a lot with people, but l read a little bit about his tweet and l thought it was fake! I thought maybe shubble was lying or someone was framing him, l was trying to justify what he did as not his fault but when l saw all the news about l literally CRYED! He was my hero, the person l loved most in the whole world he enjoyed life and everything, but at the same time shubble though l don’t watch her content anymore was telling the truth so l felt very conflicted about this matter. Until l noticed on the patterns, he hurt a lot of people he was “friends” with, tommy, Charlie, etc and it made me realize l picked up on these patterns myself. I was hitting the people l loved the most, l have definitely stopped now but l have copied so much of Wilbur’s behavior, language, even my music is a lot of Wilbur’s or lovejoys songs. And that just amplified that he is a bad person for abusing shubble and it really hurts that it’s true, cause she meant it with all of her heart… it hurt so bad coming to that conclusion, but now all l need is just to make sure l support shubble and stop supporting and copying Wilbur.

I really don't get it, either. She reacted the same way I did when I started recovering from certain experiences (still am, but healing stalled for a while due to unwise choices). I've never been in a romantic relationship, but I was very much affected by narcissistic people that I loved and thought cared for me. "How did I not see it for what it was?" "How was I so stupid?" Her trying to keep her emotions in because we were often told that our emotions were weak and made us into a problem. This is real. She's been through it, and it's so #### painful. At the same time, I am hopeful that people can change. I'm not going to pretend that I've always been a good person anymore. I wasn't. But people can change. I'm trying to change, however slowly that's happening. Will can change if only he would TRY. I'm hoping that he will try to change. But that should NOT take away the consequences because what he did to her was absolutely horrid.

The problem isnt that shelby wasnt comfortable addressing him. It's that he did not take accountability. He "apoligised" for "any pain he caused", but he did not outwardly apoligise about what he did. He did not address her, and he did not come clean about continuing to bite her after she revoked consent. Watch her other vod about her confession about the abuse, and she goes into detail about him biting her until she bruises, making her clean his house, and other things that cannot be justified, even with an "apology" which is not what he did. He talked about himself and how hes getting help, and not about how he affected her. If you think that anything he said justifies forgiveness, you should edjucate yourself. Especially considering that any form of physical abuse IS A CRIME!! He is not an innocent man, he put on a facade for the internet, as many friends also came forwards about manipulative and violent tendamncies. I’m so sad and I will still support Wilbur no matter what but what he did was completely unacceptable and disgusting. But he’s the only reason why I’m still alive, my parents are pretty mean to me and blame me for EVERYTHING that happens but watching him ,his livestreams and listening to his music got me through a lot and I am not rethinking what had happened before he helped me, istg if he continues this behaviour to future girlfriends (if he gets them) I will be very upset. unfortunately, ive so far seen two stories on the r/dremsmp reddit about how they wanted to wait for more evidence. the first i spoke with and provided as much info as i could to, and they eventually made up their mind, deciding to support shubble. the second seemed much younger, probably a young teen, and was desperate to see that wilbur was innocent as far as i could tell, and after a long string of replies with many people involved they decided to stop responding to the coments, and were still dead set on saying "well she could be lying", and similar statements. its sadening to see how many people are so desperate to see that wilbur is innocent, and Shubble a liar.

She brings up so many good points. I especially like it when she says that the general public doesn't have to be informed about every single detail that is in this situation. Just because you follow someone doesn't mean you're entitled to their personal information- ESPECIALLY in such a sensitive case like this. The fact that some people got aggressive and sent some very nasty comments and made assumptions with the only info they had as if they were involved in the situation and knew more than she or her friends did is fucking disgusting. It's good to be concerned for someone and show your support. However, the line is drawn right there. You show support and you patiently wait for more information or closure to come out. You don't demand it- especially when these people aren't ready and are still trying to process what's happened. Honestly, such a crappy situation for everyone. For one, her voice is shaking which proves how much Wilbur has affected her. No matter if he has changed or not, she doesn't deserve to be attacked. Wilbur's apology was BS, and it seemed rushed in general. He never addressed the issue itself, and he described literal abuse as 'consensual and playful' and he has also claimed that there was a safe word. a safeword is used when the person taking an action knows there's a chance of discomfort, etc. If this really wasn't abuse there would never have been a need for a safe word that Wilbur didnt even respect. Stop defending abuse, it doesn't matter if Wilbur changes or has changed; he still did it.

As someone who has been through abuse and SA, has withdrawn consent and been ignored, and been through assault it's so hard to tell people. It's incredibly unlikely she's ever going to get a decent apology. My heart goes out to her. My daughter and I have followed her for a while. We adore Shubble.
