This is the ONLY song Duane Allman ever wrote and recorded! When asked, he said "I had a dream, and Jimi Hendrix showed me this melody and how to play it. So I woke up the next morning and began playing it!" God rest his and all the Brothers who have gone on to higher ground.

Very pretty, S&P. I learned it back in the day. I got close but never could get it to sound just right and it was awlfully hard to play. Then someone said to tune the guitar to E. But if you need some good finger-stretching exercises...
