Artie is poster boy for conformity bias, he's decimated by media (often rightfully so) for his contemptible behaviour and that affects how people see his other performances, even late night tv. For me he's arguably the best comedy guest on any talk show, he just has a knack for it maybe more than for stand up or anything else. And I'm big fan of comedy, rarely anyone can pack that much content in 5-10 minutes.
