Actually, considering that Moonlight did make the patterns and stuff for the cloth in a vector program (I'm assuming she used Adobe Illustrator, since that's the industry standard for vector art), she should be able to size them up to 1:1 scale with little to no problems! One of the wonderful things about vector art is that since it doesn't work with pixels, the program doesn't have to figure out where to add or subtract pixels when resizing an image! So you don't have to worry about your images getting blurry if you scale them one way or the other, and unlike pixel images, you can go from small to large really easily with no sharpness lost! I would say the only thing she could have to do is add more details for visual interest on a larger scale, but it'd be just as easy to keep it accurate to Shylily's model. Eliza would likely add more glitter though, which she rarely goes wrong with, lol.

I am DYING for a doll customizer/ mini painter collab. With the right topic, there'd be ways to bring out the best in both. (And I've totally considered adding fabric details to my minis- with liquid super glue most fabric can harden into a perfectly usable, paintable surface )

What's even more insane is I'm pretty sure she has a tremor in her hands. In earlier videos you can see her hands shaking noticably when sewing, painting, and doing handheld camera shots. As someone with an idiopathic tremor in my hands, that it seems she's managed to get it to either resolve it or get to a point where her precision overcomes the tremor is really impressive. (Disclaimer: I might be reading into the old footage lol.)

As a seamstress, I'm here to say that doll stuff is limited in some ways and people stuff in other ways. Sometimes fabrics are too stiff for small scale sewing, or maybe you find a perfect print but the scale of the print is way too big for the doll (I searched weeks to find the perfect scale gingham print for a doll's outfit) and some things can be more easily done on doll scale than people scale (like gravity defying bows). Also, you can generally more easily get away with glue on doll stuff than people stuff, because body heat can make certain glues soften, as can hot weather.

As someone who paints models with very fine details, this absolutely fascinates me. She's so damned GOOD at painting the face and all the little details! Lines are perfect whether they're curved or straight! And I need to know what tool she's using for that, because I need that in my painting supplies! I've never seen something that paints THAT fine!

I can attest for the nail art brush, i use it when painting minis and it's great for details, and for any free hand you may want to paint as well, one tip though, clean the brush a lot because the paint tends to dry very fast in the small bristles

17:39 yea something like in my dressup darling but not really since cosplays for actually humans have to be designed to undress while most of doll makers just glue/sew clothes around the doll and you wouldn't really be able to use glue that much you would have to sew clothes and that would end up as a lot and i mean a lot of work, and also it has to be washable so it be rewearable

Yes, we can, but no, it's not as easy, since with real humans there's a lot of variation in body shape, materials become more costly, patterns have to bought and modified, and most importantly... a lot of us in the doll customizer community don't live where we can go to cons. So we have nowhere to wear it to. But a doll can wear her outfit whenever she wants, forever.
