It's alright, it is a bit of a departure, definitely less anxious suspense,has its moments though, still great production values; more character driven. certainly lesser of the two P.S. THe guy speaking while driving to warez is "Jeffrey Donovan" From, Burn Notice fame. It is more survival, Journey themed.

A family member is retired FBI. The FBI likes hiring people with law degrees to work as field agents because they can do complex document-heavy financial investigations. The movie mentions that they've been tracking Manuel Diaz through his banking and property records, so they'd need agents with legal and CPA training on the team.

You do a good job on all the reactions I've watched you do. Your comments are short, articulate, and interesting, and you "get it" with whatever the plot is, and what is "going on" at the particular time of your interruptions. And very important, you also have a smooth "easy to listen to" tone of voice. I'm 72 years old and retired with a lot of time on my hands. I keep up with news, sports, documentaries, etc., etc., and I explore and investigate all types of topics and subject matter via my PC because TV programming sucks. They took her because she wasn't ready. She could be led around, she wouldn't fight, she wouldn't make noise. They passed on her partner, not because he was green, but because he was a lawyer and a soldier. He might argue with them, he might stand up for himself. They did treat her well, though. They kept her safe. They gave her valuable experience. And at the end? When he puts a gun to her head to get her to sign the paper? That was a favor to her. As her boss already told her, they had all the coverage from on high that they needed. They weren't getting into any trouble. She might, though, if she actually tried to go public or make a stink of it. By holding a literal gun to her head, he gave her the 'out' that she needed in order to do the right thing, what she really wanted to do anyways. The reality is she didn't want to go public, she didn't want to pick that fight. She knew, deep down, it wouldn't work out how it should. But her morals were going to make her do it anyways. He let her off the hook, by threatening her. She can sleep at night, saying she would have done the right thing, if only... Denis Villeneuve is my favorite director in Hollywood right now. He doesn't have a bad film and each one is better than the last.

It's interesting how many people miss the detail that it was Kate's own gun Alejandro used to threaten her at the end. Even after he says 'You would be committing , Kate.' and dismantles the gun while leaving the pieces in her apartment a lot of people still don't pick up on that. I think that is a sign that you've been truly engaged and invested in a character so much that you miss critical little details like that. Excellent film making.
@Christian-el2bzАй бұрын
This was a surprisingly good reaction😁 Not to generalize, but I've seen too many reactors "just not get it". I've seen multiple reactors think that Brolin's character - Matt Graver is flirting with Kate when he's vetting her to see if she has vulnerabilities that the cartel can use against her. I've seen reactors think Alejandro "grapes" Diaz' brother Guillermo.. And so fourth... So this was a pleasant surprise to see the reactor either be up to speed or even ahead of the narrative of the story 😃
