The reason the mother kept him that way is basically unrelated in this conversation. We're not talking about why, we're talking about what happens to Jimmy as a result. Also the kid was subject to bullying for literally no reason because the mother wanted to "keep him safe."

That last scene with the car..I feel like I ever watched this. This is a nice ending to his 'condition' when in real life this having no immune exists. I forgot the name but I assume some of you know the kid who had it and passed away after getting the stem cells infused to his body (it was contaminated or smth).
