@michaelscott-joynt32152 ай бұрын
You can always build, mod, maintain, and personalize your dinosaur. An EV is a sold finished product. It defies the racing and hot rodding way of life, to constantly change and improve and find ways to get everything out of your car and yourself. If you stick with an EV you just wait for software updates, and order the next one online, I guess. That's not much of a sport or hobby.
@thomaslewis78832 ай бұрын
Fast is fast. Riding in a 8 or 9 second NHRA super stocker with a manual transmission is life changing, but don't get it twisted the power of 2, 3 or four electric motor's in a 4000 plus pound sedan is a force like no other you've ever experienced. Its pretty much instant and all in as soon as you step on the go pedal.
@backyardbuilttrucks12 ай бұрын
Fast is fast EV is quick not fast , a EV having to have a battery that battery can only be as big as the car itself , takes time to charge , power to weight ratio , guy here races EV’s at the track and on the street and he goes out first round every time , 4 second 1/8 mile street driven car is fast .
@briannelson83732 ай бұрын
@@michaelscott-joynt3215 Exactly! EVs are the equivalent of a point-and-shoot camera. What you bought is as good as it's ever going to get, the only "mod" is weight loss. The 170 runs a drag radial and as knowledgeable drag racers know a drag radial needs tons of traction compound. If you look at the surface and it’s not really shiny it’s hasn’t been “radial” prepped. Looks like the track gave you a basic slick tire prep which won’t work for the 170. I’m surprised you didn’t try to slip the prep guys a few bucks to spray extra glue on the track. 😉
