Hi Dr Sid, this information is been a breakthrough in my healing journey. I was always working on my self worth and happiness. I dint realise I have to also heal my pain and fear beliefs that are holding myself back. As you said balance both pain and pleasure is the key. So now I am going to address all fear and pain I developed as a child and heal from to live my fullest potential in present. I usually freeze before taking a new action or habit that I know is good for me even simple steps. I always procrastinate it and wonder why I am doing this as I know I am capable and will give me satisfaction. Now I know why I hold myself back. Thank you so much. I also understand fear is my friend and is always by my side to protect me from danger. Could you pls guide me any steps on how I can train my fear or amygdala. And address addiction.

Humans know what's good for them but they don't do it due to many factors. Let's say for eg we heard the saying not to worry about fruits, focus on efforts. But we do think/worry about results. Describe this in neuroscience terms.

Hey Sid, a huge fan of your work. Learnt and still learning a lot from your videos. However, just wanted to make a suggestion/request to try using something else to quote as an example other than snakes. I've a tremendous fear of snakes/reptiles to a level of I can say phobia. My mind completely shut down when you used snakes as examples and you literally showed them on the screen. I had to go back and hear you out again while covering my eyes.

Hey, amazing video! Discovered you on relationshit advice and I'm really glad I did. If we tend to get attracted towards bright red color, then why do we use the same bright red color to highlight danger? Is it because we want to grab our attention towards the dangerous message/information?
@prithabazani10 ай бұрын
Red has the highest wavelength, so its visible from far compared to any other color. That's the reason in signal or danger situation we are using red, so that it will be noticed from far. The concept of VIBGYOR is also based on that, Violet has shortest wavelength and Red has the highest.
