As someone who works in retails- we tend to trust people with children the least, especially if there is a pram/buggy. I work in clothing retail as an assistant manager and can confirm our biggest thieves are women who try to shove things in their prams or get their children to steal for them (usually small things like jewellery).

In the first video, I actually live in the town close to where that prison is in Pennsylvania, it was the most insane man hunt for weeks. People had to keep all their doors locked and avoid going out, cops shut down miles of roads in every direction. It’s an areas where there is so much open land, farms, woods for dude to hide in, etc. The story from start to finish was actually nuts, they had to call in special forces from the government to help catch him

Fun fact, in most countries you are legally allowed to escape prison. You just have to make sure you're not damaging prison property, and that you're not stealing prison wear or run out naked, which is where they catch you.

So where I live we had a string of robberies invovling tractors like that. They kept getting stolen from different construction sites early in morning then left on side of road. Turned out one key worked for every CAT vehicle, so they lifted a key and then could use any excavator they wanted.

In that first clip that inmate was Danelo Cavalcante. He was wanted back in his home country Bridal for a prior homicide and in the US he was sentenced with first degree murder and in Pennsylvania that means it's life without the possibility of parole because he had stabbed his girl friend 38 times to death in front of her two kids. There was like 500 law enforcement officers involved in the manhunt for him which lasted 11 days. He was also armed with a rifle that he stole after breaking into someone's home. The prison years prior had an escape like this before. The tower guard was out on administrative leave but was soon fired. Its jarring to know that the guard wasn't doing their job, they have live ammunition in case situations like this occur. So as much as these escapes are cool to watch, it's scary knowing there is a dangerous person on the loose branding a rifle. We also don't get every detail of who the criminals are either which makes us want to root for those escapees.

In germany you are allowed to attempt prison escape as long as you don’t harm anyone, destroy any property, steal something or use weapons to threaten people, of course you will get followed and if you get caught no extra time will be applied since its a human right to try and escape and be free. Let me reiterate, you are allowed to try and escape, if you do escape no extra time will be given. However, if you damage property, threaten people, steal something or injure someone you will get extra time. If you don’t do any of that, it is seen as human right to try and escape.

When his girlfriend learned that he had killed someone in Brazil, she threatened to snitch, and he stabbed her (I think it was 20 something times). The problem these days is that they legitimately track them from satellites and will not only be able to see where it is but also the path it took to get there so further camera evidence can be collected along the route and potentially they could use satellite imagery to show your every move afterwards and negate any disguise or alibi you might use.

Context for the excavator/atm clip. A lot of construction companies/crews will leave the keys to heavy machinery in the vehicle, or on the job site in the United States. It was pretty common for people in the area to take bobcats and other machinery for joy rides lol

The digger robbery happened in Ireland and they first stole the digger from a local construction site as usually the workers would just leave the keys in the machine after their shifts. The gang pulled of around 7 robberies at the time but honestly I don't know what happened to them or if they got caught.
