If you cook your carrots long enough, your chick peas will be too hard to eat, and your onions will be burnt. Ditch the chickpeas, do broccoli or brussel sprouts. Season everything even the onions. Throw your onions in halfway done cooking the tray. 😊

That last one is one I need to try. One thing I do with brussels sprouts is with mushed apple. I found this out by accident when having pork and apple together, and I dropped one in the apple. Happy accident. I've never tried roasted though. Or fried. So I might need to try those as well. No matter how much I try to like it, brussels sprouts themselves are just too much for my bitch of a super-taster tongue. I've managed to get myself liking other bitter veggies, but brussels being one of the stronger ones I can't. Kale was another, but I got myself sorta liking that via masking it with other tastes. It's the only way I can stomach tomato as well, when it is masked with other flavours, particularly when it is cooked well like in pizza or sauces. (that are specifically not strongly tomato tasting! NOPE) Brussels though, it was a hard one. The apple thing was the only way i could stomach them. So definitely need to try some other ideas.
