So uhhh....this is my favourite commander of all time and I'm two minutes into the video and realized that I've been cheating with this commander the whole time I've used her and somehow I didn't notice nor did any of the people I play with. I've been putting a 2/2 zombie into play for each creature card that gets milled into my graveyard... and I've been doing cheesy combos like using Traumatize on myself and putting 20+ zombies into play with it....

@@rorykitchen2727 It's weird because all the people I've played with have read the card and I've read the card but none of us have ever noticed and I've been playing her for 2 years now with the same group of people. I guess it just goes to show how weak creature swarm is in commander.

I would say that as reasonable upgrades some thoughts should be put into the Lorwyn incarnations as they shuffle into your library AFTER hitting your graveyard for repeatability. Also, Filth is an incarnation like Wonder, but gives your creature Swampwall instead of flying.

Have you considered putting in Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis? You can go nearly infinite with this, Sidisi and Altar of Dementia. I use it myself in a similar deck with Dread Return and Labman if you wanna go that way.

Thanks Mitch! Sidisi was my first EDH commander. I started w her because she was cheap and an easy commander to build as many of the self mill cards were reasonable too at the time. It was the beginning of my commander experience, now I am 4 decks into this format! Great Job as always!

You know, another reasonable upgrade for this deck might be Jace, Wielder of Mysteries as an alternate wincon. Considering you’re self-milling, winning with an empty library would be pretty dope. Of course, you might also paint a target on your back with that, too.

You can also win that way combined with divining witch (as unfortunately demonic consultation shot up ridiculously, I got mine last year for 50 cence last year.) Will let you tutor Jace then activate witch again naming black lotus then Jace for the win :)

I mean, Sidisi’s gonna paint a target on your back before the game even starts. People know the shenanigans graveyard decks get up to, and Sidisi is pretty efficient and very versatile.

Sometimes, playing MtG:O and already having a fair number of the cards listed can be really helpful. For example, taking my pre-existing collection into account, it is less expensive for me to build the upgraded version than the original

Glad to see this as I’ve been playing and upgrading Sidisi for 2 years now... it’s tons of fun - I usually try to win with Jarad Golgari Lich Lord comboing with Apocalypse Demon, and it can get insane especially with living death coming out on occasions

If you add gaeas blessing or one of the eldrazi titans for protection from self mill, you can go infinite with altar of dementia and path to discovery essentially milling your opponents

Sidisi is my favorite legendary creature, and she pilots my favorite commander deck. Which is well over the price of the average Sidisi deck. But I love this idea too and I am probably just going to build a second one just so I can play a Sidisi deck in lower powered playgroups.

i missed that ruling on her ability, sorry about that. doom whisperer could easily be a golden pig of the deck should you have enough life to survive using its ability multiple times. if you had more stuff for surveil the card enhanced surveilance would work great. Cards that can work with the lifegain to mitigate doom whisperer's cost could be leyline of vitality, and ayara, first of locthwain.

I like to go with a different approach with this deck. Use the zombies as backup while I use the self mill to get creatures into my graveyard and back onto the battlefield

Sad that gaea’s blessing and svogthos weren’t mentioned in this. Gaia’s blessing shuffles your graveyard back into your library when it gets milled otherwise it’s a 2 mana green sorcery that lets you shuffle 3 cards back into your library. Svogthos is a land that taps for colorless, but you can pay 3bg to turn it into a plant zombie land creature with power and toughness equal to the number of creatures in your graveyard.

I'm surprised Dread return is not mentionned. It is fairly cheap at 2$ and the ability to bring back something from your grave by sacrificing 3 creature (mostly zombie) is more than powerfull. One of the better card in my sidisi deck for sure.

The fact that "River kelpie" is missed in so many EDH decks and by far this one is an absolute crime! There are very few cards I would consider more synergistic, and it costs almost nothing for what it is. You flashback, or retrace, or persist, or undying, or.... etc etc etc. DRAW A CARD. Flashback "think twice" and draw 2 at instant speed? I mean common guys. Get with this keplie program.
