So the giant ....let's just say a lucky arty shot thread the needle from the middle channel and somehow avoided all the walls to strike my giant clean with a single bullseye hit from Frogie

apparently the stone giant got between 1600 -1800 kills if the player remembers correctly ^^

The Orcs measured the wall using Imperial standard but built the ladders using metric lol

That Stone Giant is hilarious...

Javelins and trolls are the bane of the stone giant's existence. All of its defense is in armor, and it has a huge hit box. It's also extremely slow. These will kill the giant very quickly. In the the first vid Umad featured it in was killed by Olog Hai and Orc Javelins before it got a single attack in when it reached the front line.

Really I've really enjoyed this map, so cool to have the full force of the attackers coming in from one side with a few brutal chokes throughout.

Its a real shame that second stone giant died unceremonially like that. They were obviously saving it for the final town square-slug out.

The defender use the strongest unit, stone giant, while te attacker use catapult to kill it, it is very smart idea

Amazing map! I love the new units! I am glad to see you have been uploading some more Third Age videos! Also...that stone giant is the same model used in the game Lord of the Rings: War in the North and is the final boss in the Ettenmoors! Interesting choice!

this can be one of the coolest maps i have seen in third age. I'm curious about minas tirith and helms deep cuz someone said it has a redesign aswell

Minas Tirith has a couple new ways up to the second and third levels. Hornburg has received the first couple of the few improvements that will be made before version 1.0. Improvements to the current version include expanded interior of Hornburg to serve as the final stand and fixed attacker deployments so any number of attackers can spawn properly. Edited to include the changes to Minas Tirith*

@@wk2337 did you guys change edoras aswell?. Cuz I remember few years back that it was changed a bit to havevmore space aswell inside of the city.

@@jorenverbiest5193 No further changes for Edoras. In the future I'm considering replacing the palisades with wooden walls, but that's still in planning phase.

Stone Giant can do a lot of damage but unfortunately with all the numbers and capabilities the orcs were always going to win. The second Stone Giant was easily killed and Dwarves cannot hold so much space with so few.

Are these battles this framey for the players when they do the battle? If so you'd think they would do smaller battles. I wouldn't be able to play like this lol.

Presuming a good internet connection for all players, they are smooth as long as they remember to use the lowest settings. Sadly Medieval 2 is such an old game that it can't take advantage of modern hardware due to software limits. For example max ram being limited to 2gb and with LAA 4gb.
