When you used the tree line for reference, I didn’t even focus on that, I was looking at the cars which appeared to be 250/300yards away? And the flag which you couldn’t see until you looked to through that magnifier and that had to be at least a good 600 maybe? Liked the review keep up the good work.

There's probably people who will disagree with me but I think these Juliet magnifiers are just as good as EOTech or AimPoint with a better price. I like them because you don't have to push a button to flip it to the side you just pull it aside have a nice stiff retention spring in them and with the spacers that come with them I think you can make them work with just about any red out there Granite they're not cheap but they do have a better price point than EOTech or AimPoint!!!!!!!

Really wanted to like this magnifier. But when I focus the diopter out to distance I get 2 and then 3 images of the reticle. Spoke to their customer service who said its an accepted problem with higher magnifications and that I should try looking away and then quickly looking in the sight. That didn't really work and it's not the way I shoot distance. I love sig but I want both sharp subject and a single reticle and for this price I think that's reasonable. The rest of the build quality is great as you would expect. The clarity is good enough. Don't expect premium glass at this point.

that is strange because i have the sightmark magnifrier pro in 7x and i have it sighted behind a holosun and i donot have no problems at distance i get a better reticle image looking though the magnifrier with the holosun than i do just looking though the red dot by it self

Looks like because of the extra length, you'd not be able to use a rear BUIS due to rail spacing, unless you place your red dot on the handguard rail. I wouldn't be opposed to doing such a thing, but of course some handguards don't have the front rail portion, and it -slightly- hampers modularity (ie if I wanted to change out handguards, I now have to rezero).

Yeah, any flip up buis should fit nicely under the magnifier. Fixed back up irons wouldn’t work obviously

I'm not sure if you mentioned it in the video, I might have missed it. How do you like the eye relief? I was looking at other 6X red dot magnifiers and the most common complaint is too little eye relief. People have a hard time getting their face up close enough to the magnifiers. This seems to have a little more eye relief at 2.5" compared to some other 6x options.

I wish I had some other 6X magnifier in the shop to compare them against the new Sig offering. What I can say is that feel that the Juliet3 & Juliet4 magnifiers beat most other magnifiers in regards to eye relief. And then these 6X versions seem to have pretty much the same amount of eye relief as the 3X and 4X. So that leads me to believe that they would compete very well against other high magnification magnifiers.

All magnifiers have short eye relief, it’s just the trade off you get for having 3,4,5 or 6x magnification in such a small package. Just one more thing to consider when deciding between a red dot and magnifier or some sort of LPVO or other options. There’s no perfect solutions, only compromises. A magnified red dot will never be able to compete with an acog or lpvo at range but you get more capability at close range. I know this comment is old but I thought I’d just leave it here for any future people wondering about the pros and cons.

Effect ranges for the Juliet3 and 4 would be 50-250 yards IMO. I would say the sweet spot of the 6X Juliet would be from 75-350 yards. You of course could go out to farther distances with any of them. But at that point I would rather have an actual scope with more magnification. It also depends on your eye sight. All of the Juliet magnifiers are fixed magnification.

You definitely can use them together. One thing to keep in mind though is that rail space might come into play. Because both Optics have a bit larger of a footprint. But if you have the real space, they will definitely work together.

I've had a couple low-power variable magnification optics, and a couple red dots, but I've never tried using a magnifier. I've been looking for a while to find the right one, and I think the Juliet6 is the one I want to try, but one thing is stopping me: Do the magnifiers also magnify the reticle itself? I remember reading somewhere that this is the case with red dot sights, but not with holographic sights (such as an EOTech), but now a couple years later when I'm finally ready to buy one, I can't seem to find anyone mention this ANYWHERE online, in any form! Is this the case? If so, I'm trying to imagine how it would impact your shooting at longer ranges. I mean a 2 MOA dot covers a space of 2" at 100 yds, 4" at 200 yds, etc... If you're magnifying the dot, the dot will still cover the same amount of space at each range, you're just actually seeing it bigger as well. If it does in fact magnify the dot, I can see a huge advantage going to FFP variable scopes, allowing you to shoot with more precision at longer ranges. Am I mistaken here?

That's a great question. I wasn't actually sure myself, so I went ahead and found out for you. I set a 2in circle on a wall. And then walk back to a 100 yard location. Then I used a rangefinder to get the distance accurate. I then confirmed using a Romeo 5 (2 MOA) that the reticle matched up with the 2 inch circle at the 100-yard distance. It of course did. And then I flipped the magnifier (a Juliet 6) into position and the dot still covered the same two inch circle. Hope that helps!

The Romeo 6T would pair up with this magnifier just fine. But I think the better option would be the 4T as it wouldn't be quite as long and overall length.

The mount should be reversable by removing the screw/bolts that hold the mount to the magnifier. Then rotate the magnifier and reinstall the screws. As for the turrets, they are for centering your red dot reticle perfectly when looking through the magnifier.

Gene they will work just fine with pretty much any optic. As long as they line up in height. The Juliet magnifiers come out of the box at absolute cowitness height. You can use a spacer to get up to lower 1/3 height if you need too.

Both are excellent! But typically I would recommend the Juliet4 first. A smaller size and weight to me is a benefit that is hard to ignore. But on the other hand if you are taking shots beyond 200 yd often, that's where the Juliet6 comes into play.

I agree the glass in the Primary Arms magnifiers are really bad. I don't even like the 3x Primary Arms magnifier, as the distortion pretty much defeats the purpose. Hopefully they improve the glass clarity if they decide to bring out a new version.
